    摘要: A method of migrating a virtual machine (VM) having a virtual disk from a source data center to a destination data center includes generating a snapshot of the VM to create a base disk and a delta disk in which writes to the virtual disk subsequent to the snapshot are recorded, and copying the base disk to a destination data store. The method further includes, in response to a request to migrate the VM, preparing a migration specification at the source and transmitting the migration specification to the destination, the migration specification including a VM identifier and a current content ID of the base disk, and determining that a content ID of the copied base disk matches the current content ID of the base disk included in the migration specification and updating the migration specification to indicate that the base disk does not need to be migrated.

    摘要: Examples described herein include systems and methods for fuzz testing low-level virtual devices and virtual devices with DMA write functionality. A fuzz tester includes components distributed across a virtual machine and its host system. The fuzz testing components in the virtual machine are implemented as firmware installed in the virtual machine's ROM. These components operate independent of data stored in the virtual machine's RAM and do not require an operating system to be installed on the virtual machine. As a result, any changes made to the virtual machine's RAM during the fuzzing process by low-level virtual devices or virtual devices with DMA write functionality cannot interrupt the fuzz testing or otherwise negatively impact the fuzz tester itself.

    摘要: Systems and methods are described for providing check-in service that dynamically manages in-person meetings. In an example, the check-in service can receive a meeting request for a meeting of a first user with a second user at a location. The first user can request the meeting using a graphical user interface (“GUI”) or the check-in service can identify a meeting request based on a message sent from the first user to the second user. When the second user visits the location, the check-in service can send the meeting request to a user device of the second user. The second user can respond on the user device by accepting, rejecting, or postponing the meeting request. If postponed, the check-in service can place the meeting request in a queue and resend the meeting request when the second user next visits the location. If accepted, the check-in service can notify the first user.
