摘要: Weed seeds are destroyed in the chaff from a combine harvester by repeated high speed impacts caused by a rotor mounted in one of a pair of side by side housings which accelerate the discarded seeds in a direction centrifugally away from the rotor onto a stator including angularly adjustable stator surfaces around the axis. Thus the discarded seeds rebound back and forth between the rotor and the stator to provide a plurality of impacts. The seeds are carried axially of the rotor by a controlled airstream so that they move to an axial discharge location where a discharge fan is mounted. The angle of the discharge around the rotor axis can be changed to direct the seeds to the side of the combine away from a straw chopper, towards the guide fins of the tailboard of the chopper, or into the housing of the straw chopper.

摘要: An in-duct air sanitization apparatus features an air sanitizer, and a set of reflectors. A housing of the sanitizer is mountable to a first wall of an HVAC duct, and a UV emitter resides on a working side of the housing that faces into the HVAC duct to irradiate the duct interior with UV light. The reflectors are mountable on interior wall surfaces of the duct to receive and reflect incident light from the sanitizer to ensure thorough irradiation of an entire cross-sectional flow area of the duct interior, thus optimizing the effective UV sterilization of the airflow. The emitter is oriented with one or more bulb axes thereof oriented parallel to the working side of the housing to provide the sanitizer with a compact and conveniently handled low-profile design. The reflectors are mounted magnetically to the duct walls in tool-free fashion with no detriment to duct wall integrity.

摘要: A stabilizer apparatus has a mounting frame that mounts onto a ladder so as to be longitudinally slidable along the rails of the ladder. Stabilizer legs are pivotally supported on the mounting frame between a stored position in which the legs are supported alongside the mounting frame and a working position protruding outwardly from the mounting frame. A screw clamp type retaining mechanism selectively prevents longitudinal displacement of the mounting frame relative to the ladder for stabilising the ladder while in the working position of the legs.

摘要: A device for electrically connecting a direct current (DC) microgrid to a DC bus of an electrical power network, which is operating at a higher voltage than the microgrid, comprises a pair of electrical port each configured for connection with either the DC bus or the microgrid; a DC-DC power converter operatively interconnecting the electrical ports for power transmission therebetween from a first voltage at the port connected to the DC bus to a lower second voltage at the port connected to the DC microgrid; a DC circuit breaker connected between the DC-DC power converter and one of the electrical ports for selectively conducting current therebetween; and a controller which is configured to communicate with constituent devices in the DC microgrid as well as a control center representative of the electrical power network in order to exchange information about electrical energy consumption in the DC microgrid and the larger network.

摘要: A residue management system of a combine harvester includes a tailboard with a guide surface and guide fins for spreading of the residue to the sides. At least one of the fins includes a leading portion which is smoothly concavely curved up to a trailing portion which intersects with the leading portion at a change in direction or defined bend in the sheet metal. The trailing portion thus extends across and intersects with a path of the residue as it passes along the concave side surface at the leading portion and leaves the end of the leading portion to apply increased pressure on the stream and thus increase the spreading action. The trailing edge of the trailing portion is also inclined to a line across the trailing portion at right angles to the tailboard surface which causes the residue to leave the trailing edge at different angles.

摘要: A support system is provided for a passenger vehicle having front seats, rear seats, a front anchoring feature 3 forwardly of a gap between the front and rear seats and a rear anchoring feature 2 rearwardly of the gap. The support system includes (i) a panel structure, (ii) front end connectors connecting the panel structure to the front anchoring features of the vehicle, (iii) rear end connectors connecting the panel structure to the rear anchoring features of the vehicle, and (iv) a supporting arrangement providing support to laterally opposing side portions of the panel structure to resist inward displacement of the laterally opposing side portions of the panel structure towards one another when supporting a load on an upper supporting surface of the panel structure. The supporting surface extends the substantially horizontal supporting platform at the rear of a vehicle for extending the resting or storage area of the vehicle.
