摘要: In order to improve efficiency in releasing a connection with a user equipment, a method, apparatus, and computer-readable medium are presented herein. A RAN receives release assistance information from a user equipment or a User Plane Function (UPF) involved in an active session with the user equipment. The release assistance information may be received over a control plane or over a user plane. The release assistance information may be received from the user equipment or the UPF over the user plane or as Radio Resource Control (RRC) signaling. The release assistance information may be received from an application function via the UPF. The RAN determines to release the user equipment based on the release assistance information.

摘要: The present disclosure provides signaling for multi-panel user equipment (MPUE) activation and deactivation status. The MPUE may include a plurality of panels. The MPUE may determine a number of active panels. The MPUE may transmit a status message indicating at least the number of active panels to a base station. The base station may schedule a communication with the UE for at least one panel of the number of active panels. The MPUE may receive from the base station, a downlink control information (DCI) scheduling a communication for at least one of the number of active panels. The MPUE may communicate according to the DCI using the at least one panel scheduled by the DCI. In another aspect, the MPUE may indicate a nominal number of active panels and implicitly manage a mapping of panel identifiers to an actual number of active panels.

摘要: Aspects are provided allowing a UE to perform early termination of repetitions of an ongoing PUSCH transmission in response to a DCI from a base station indicating whether a prior PUSCH transmission or repetition was successfully decoded. The UE obtains information configuring an uplink data transmission and a repetition of the uplink data transmission. The UE sends the uplink data transmission to a base station. The UE terminates the repetition of the uplink data transmission in response to reception of downlink information in a downlink control channel. Thus, UE power reduction and enhanced resource efficiency may be achieved. Moreover, the repetition is terminated after a time gap following a CORESET where the downlink control channel is received. As a result, a start time for terminating PUSCH repetitions may be configured to accommodate various timing considerations such as dynamic TDD, different numerologies between PDCCH and PUSCH, and multiple PUSCH processing capabilities.

摘要: Aspects of the present disclosure include methods, apparatuses, and computer readable media for generating a plurality of cellular vehicle-to-everything (CV2X) message segments at a first layer based on an upper layer message at a second layer, wherein each message segment of the plurality CV2X message segments includes a message block of a plurality of message blocks and a redundant block of a plurality of redundant blocks, transmitting the plurality of message blocks to a receiving UE, and transmitting the plurality of redundant blocks to the receiving UE after transmitting the plurality of message blocks.

摘要: A user equipment (UE) may be provisioned with multiple semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) configurations and/or semi-static configured grants (CGs). The UE may receive a first message indicating a first set of parameters for a first SPS configuration or for a first CG. The UE may receive a second message including at least one updated parameter for a SPS configuration or a CG. The UE may determine that the second message is applicable to one or more SPS configurations or CGs including the first SPS configuration or the first CG. The UE may overwrite a corresponding parameter of the first set of parameters with the at least one updated parameter. The UE may receive according to the first SPS configuration or transmit according to the first CG based on the at least one updated parameter.

Coverage enhancement for a beam change acknowledgement

摘要: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for enhancing coverage while transmitting an acknowledgment (ACK) to a base station to acknowledge a beam change instruction. Such aspects of the present disclosure may increase the reliability of control information transmitted on a control channel by a user equipment (UE), such as ACK feedback transmitted on a physical uplink control channel by a UE to a base station. In certain aspects, a UE may receive, from a base station, information indicating a beam switch from a first beam via which the UE communicates with the base station to a second beam. The UE may further transmit, based on the information indicating the beam switch, two or more ACK messages to the base station on a control channel, and the two or more ACK messages may acknowledge receipt of the information indicating the beam switch from the base station.
