    摘要: A consistent and repeatable thawing method of frozen samples in a bag-format storage vessel is described herein. Methods and systems may allow for multiple bag-format storage vessel sizes to be used in the same device. A subset of a plurality of sensors may be qualified for the thawing method. The method may further include heating a frozen sample using a first heater bank and a second heater bank. In addition, the method may include measuring a plurality of second temperatures of the bag-format vessel. At or slightly after a second threshold temperature, the method may include heating using the first heater bank and terminating heating using the second heater bank. The method may include terminating the heating of the partially thawed sample using the first heater bank after the partially thawed sample has been heated using the first heater bank for a duration.

    摘要: A hydraulic tensioner having a piston sliding around an outside surface of a pin or rod, so that the high pressure chamber for chain control is created by the area between the piston internal diameter and the rod outside diameter. A spring around the outside of the rod presses against the bottom of the piston, biasing the piston outward during low oil pressure conditions. Preferably, the piston is steel and the rod is aluminum, the reverse of prior art designs, which means that as temperature increases, the piston to bore clearance reduces. This can offset the oil viscosity reduction and maintain the same performance over operating temperatures.

    摘要: A device including a reservoir filled with fluid, a frame, and a resilient rolling seal to prevent the fluid from reservoir from escaping, even while the device is moved along a surface. The purpose of this device is to deploy a sensor which is housed within the reservoir. The device is thus capable of maintaining a reservoir of fluid around a sensor or probe and allow the sensor or probe to remain immersed in the fluid, while also remaining in contact with the surface in which the device is moved along. The sensor preferably resides in a fluid couplant of the device. Because the fluid and the sensor reside in the reservoir and because that reservoir is effectively sealed, there is very little loss of fluid, and the amount of fluid needed to conduct testing is dramatically decreased.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a method for the assembly of or for preparing to assemble a traction drive module (10) in a drivetrain (2) with the method steps: providing a traction drive module (10) having a transmission housing (18) in which are arranged a first gear wheel (40) rotatably mounted on the transmission housing (18), a second gear wheel (48) arranged at a center-to-center distance (58) to the first gear wheel (40), and a traction means (46) via which the first and second gear wheel (40, 48) are in rotary driving connection with one another; attaching an assembly aid (16) acting between the second gear wheel (48) and the transmission housing (18) and detachable from the traction drive module (10); and changing the center-to-center distance (58) by moving the second gear wheel (48) relative to the transmission housing (18) while adjusting a predetermined tension of the traction means (46) by means of the detachable assembly aid (16).     摘要: A limit switch assembly for a rising-stem valve includes an operating lever actuator element mounted to an outer end of an actuator arm. An electrical switch mounted adjacent the outer end has an operating lever. When the actuator arm is in an outward position, the operating lever actuator element retains the operating lever in a first position wherein the electrical switch is in a first state, and when the actuator arm is in an inward position the operating lever is in a second position wherein the electrical switch is in a second state. An adjustment nut is mounted to the outer end adjacent the operating lever actuator element, and the operating lever actuator element and the adjustment nut are configured to be adjusted along a longitude of the actuator arm to change a distance the operating lever actuator element must travel to move the operating lever into the first position.
