    Abstract: Methods of operating electric motor systems that comprise electric motors comprising a rotor having a magnet mounted thereto. The electric motor is initially operated in an open loop mode in which the rotor angle is estimated based on the input voltage frequency. Once the motor is running at sufficient speed, a transition to closed loop mode operation is performed, wherein the rotor angle is determined using an observed back EMF. To provide a smoother open loop to closed loop transition, the rotor angle is determined during a transition period as a function of both the open loop rotor angle and the closed loop rotor angle.

    Abstract: An electronic device includes: a speaker; a touch display; a processor operatively coupled to the speaker and the touch display. The processor is configured to execute an application; in response to the execution of the application, display a first screen corresponding to the application through the touch display; acquire an input to play back audio data of the application while the first screen is displayed; in response to the acquisition of the input, output audio corresponding to the audio data through the speaker; determine whether an object associated with the outputted audio exists; determine whether the object is displayed in the first screen based on the determination that the object associated with the outputted audio exists; and when the object is not displayed in the first screen, perform auto scroll so that the object is displayed through the first screen while the audio is output.

    Abstract: A car having two front wheels; two rear drive wheels; a supercharged internal combustion engine which is provided with a plurality of cylinders with which respective pistons slide and a drive shaft connected to the pistons; a compressor configured to compress air suited to be sucked by the supercharged internal combustion engine; a transmission which is interposed between the internal combustion engine and the rear drive wheels and has: a drum which is brought into rotation by the drive shaft, at least one clutch contained in the drum to receive the motion from the drum, and a primary shaft connected to the clutch; and an actuating system which connects the drum of the transmission to the first compressor so as to receive the motion from the drum of the transmission to cause the rotation of the first compressor.
