摘要: A control device of a technical installation receives in normal operation cyclically measurement variables from sensors, and outputs control variables to actuators. In normal operation, the control device stores the history of at least some of the measurement variables at least for a limited time and monitors the measurement variables for the occurrence of a fault. If a fault occurs, the control device transmits a fault message identifying the fault and the history to a knowledge base. In response to the fault message and the histories, the control device receives a reply from the knowledge base and outputs the reply to an operator. Before the normal operation is performed, the control device receives from the operator specifications which allow the control device to defines the histories. In the event of a fault, the control device determines, in dependence on the specifications, which histories to transmit to the knowledge base.

摘要: A numerical controller executes a system program. While executing the system program, the numerical controller executes a sub-program. On the basis of the execution of the sub-program, the numerical controller controls position-controlled shafts of a machine tool controlled by the numerical controller. The sub-program contains instruction sets which are retrieved sequentially one after the other by the numerical controller. The numerical controller only executes the retrieved instruction sets when the instruction sets comply with permitted boundary conditions. Otherwise, the instruction sets are not executed. Before executing the sub-program and while executing the system program, the numerical controller receives information defining the permitted boundary conditions via an interface protected from unauthorized access.

摘要: A machine tool includes a machine control unit to output control signals to drives for machine elements. A tool which machines a workpiece is thereby moved relative to the workpiece in a position-controlled manner. Arranged in a first region of one machine element is an active vibration damper to damp vibration in a second region of the machine elements as the workpiece is machined by the tool. In order to detect the vibration, a first sensor is arranged in the first region of the machine element and a second sensor is arranged on another machine element or in a different region of the one machine element. Actual values detected by the first and second sensors and corresponding target values are supplied to a dual controller which determines on the basis of these values, a resulting manipulated variable for the active vibration damper and actuates the active vibration damper accordingly.

摘要: An electronic switch for connecting units of a power supply system has a semiconductor switch, an actuation circuit and a current/voltage sensor for detecting current flow through the electronic switch. The actuation circuit operates the semiconductor switch, depending on oscillations measured by the current/voltage sensor, in an activated state, a deactivated state or a linear mode. A power supply system having the electronic switch for connecting with the electronic switch two electrical sub-networks and a method for operating the electronic switch are also disclosed. The semiconductor switch is operated at least temporarily in the linear mode for damping oscillations.
