摘要: A grain bin has a top opening with a hopper for receiving grain that is directed downwardly to a spreader supported for rotation by a vertical shaft. The spreader has an elongated inclined chute having a V-shape cross-section. The chute has a center portion having an opening with a trap door pivoted or controlled from a mechanism operable from the top opening of the bin. A deflector is positioned under the trap door opening and rotates the chute in response to the flow of grain through the opening. The chute has an extension that also supports a pivotal deflector.

摘要: A sheet metal lid has a rim portion removably secured and sealed to a container and the lid includes a vent button having a top wall portion surrounded by a side wall portion and an outwardly projecting flange portion. The flange portion of the button has a short arcuate score or shear line extending substantially into the sheet metal, and additional score lines extend into the flange portion at lesser depths to protect a coating on the inner surface of the lid. A resilient sealant material may be bonded to the inner surface of the vent button, and the opposing sheet metal portions of the score line form a small gap for releasing a vacuum or pressure from the container in response to a controlled downward pressure on the top wall portion of the vent button.

摘要: A self-retracting knife includes a housing having a forward end defining a blade aperture, and a blade carrier supports a removable knife blade and is movable within the housing from a fully extended position with the blade projecting from the blade aperture and a fully retracted position by a tension spring. An anti-retraction latch member is supported by the housing and is movable with finger pressure to a position that stops the blade carrier from fully retracting so that the knife blade is partially extended through the blade aperture. In other embodiments, the blade carrier extends through a carrier aperture at the opposite end of the housing for extending the blade carrier, and an adjustable extension limiter also extends through the carrier aperture for limiting forward movement of the blade carrier and projection of the blade through the blade aperture.

The power supply circuit is linked electrically with the light source or sources by means of metal wires soldered on the surface by the technology commonly referred to by the expression “wire bonding”. The measures of the invention make it possible to define at least one reception plane for the light sources oriented in such a way as to avoid having components in the vicinity of the light sources casting shadows thereon.
