摘要: A kit for dispensing disposable stethoscope covers and other instrument covers is provided. The kit may include a cartridge and a dispenser for automatic touch-free dispensing of disposable stethoscope covers. The kit further includes a first spool having a roll of backing member with disposable stethoscope covers disposed thereon and a second spool for receiving the spent backing member after a disposable stethoscope cover has been removed, self-contained within the cartridge. The cartridge is inserted within the dispenser so that a user may insert a stethoscope head through a window of the dispenser to attach to a disposable stethoscope cover. Alternatively, the cartridge or cassette may be comprised of disposable instrument covers so that a user may insert the instrument near or through the window of the dispenser for application of the instrument cover directly to the instrument. The kit may further include a proximity sensor for detecting a user.

摘要: Novel system, methods, which include machine learning, and device for providing color and fashion recommendations, including for persons with visual impairment such as color blindness or complete blindness. Also, methods providing a data storage system for storing digital renditions of garments; providing a portable communication device to extract color and/or pattern from garments through use of a camera and at least one algorithm; providing a processor capable of accessing locally stored and/or remote information about or learning the preferred matching set of garments; assigning each garment in the set of garments a red-green-blue (RGB) value; providing a suitability ranking for matching compatibility of the garment or the set of garments; and providing recommendations for preferred matching garment or set of garments by organizing the garments in at least one queue selected from the group consisting of audial, tactile, visual or a combination thereof, wherein the individual imports garments or set of garments, through a series of photos or video, for bulk import into a virtual closet for the identification and assignment of type of garments or set of garments using human or computational methods.

摘要: A process for the preparation of pharmaceutically acceptable immunoglobulin compositions from plasma-derived immunoglobulin fractions which allows the parallel preparation of immunoglobulin compositions enriched in IgG, IgM and IgA. In this process, immunoglobulin contained in Cohn fraction I/II/III or Kistler Nitschmann fraction A+I is resolubilized at conductivities of at least 1 mS/cm, and following removal of contaminating protein the resolubilized immunoglobulin is subjected to anion exchange chromatography to obtain IgG- and IgM/IgA-enriched immunoglobulin compositions. The IgG-enriched immunoglobulin composition is further subjected to treatment with a cation exchange material to obtain an immunoglobulin composition having a reduced properdin content.

摘要: A system providing self-service access to locked merchandise comprising: (a) providing a fixture that restricts access to the locked merchandise, wherein the fixture can automatically lock or unlock, allowing or restricting access to the locked merchandise; (b) providing a means of uniquely identifying an individual attempting to access the merchandise; (c) measuring a set of behaviors of the individual during any time the fixture is an open mode; (d) assessing whether the set of behaviors of the individual are suspicious or not relative to a set of suspicious event thresholds; (e) storing the individual and their set of behaviors as accessible records in at least one database; and (f) providing an algorithm which determines future access privileges of the individual to the enclosure based on a set of variables.
