摘要: A safety button cover for use with a button station is provided. The safety button cover comprises a button cover sleeve with a first and second open end that define an interior space therebetween. A dividing wall is provided between the first and second open ends to separate the interior space into a first recess and second recess. The dividing wall further includes at least one opening to permit a corresponding button of the button station to extend from the first recess through the opening into the second recess. When the safety button cover is installed over the button station, a portion of the button cover sleeve surrounds a button panel and a portion of a button housing on which the button is installed to define an overlap region between the safety button cover and the button station.

摘要: A port assembly for controlling fluid flow through a flow port of a port sub. The port assembly comprises a dissolvable barrier, a burst disk for protecting the dissolvable barrier from fluids inside the port sub, and optionally a protective layer for protecting the dissolvable barrier from external fluids. When the burst disk is ruptured by increased fluid pressure inside the port sub, the dissolvable barrier starts disintegrating from exposure to the fluid. When the dissolvable barrier and protective layer are broken through, a flow passage is opened in the port assembly to permit fluid flow therethrough. The flow passage may be positioned tangentially in the port sub. The breakthrough time of the dissolvable barrier may be preconfigured by providing one or more thinner areas therein and/or placing a corrosive material in the port assembly.

摘要: Systems and methods are provided for enabling a dealer to configure a plurality of financing plans for a vehicle purchase by a buyer. A first interest rate is determined for a first financing plan for the purchase without any products. A selection of products to be purchased is accepted and the expected profits from their sale is determined, and a second interest rate for a second financing plan for the vehicle purchase with the products is determined, wherein the second interest rate is lower than the first interest rate. The system accepts a profit setting representing a portion of the expected profits that can be applied to lower the interest rate and facilitate the second financing plan for the purchase with the second interest rate.

摘要: A method and apparatus for analyzing a bitumen-containing process stream and controlling a process. The method including directing a beam of infrared light at the bitumen-containing process stream, capturing light corresponding to the infrared light after interaction with the bitumen-containing process stream, and analyzing the captured light to obtain a spectrum. A composition estimate can be generated based on the spectrum and a calibrated model. A controller is operative to adjust a setpoint of the process in response to the composition estimate.

摘要: A motor is provided that is capable of electronically switching between operating in a high torque mode and a low torque mode. The high torque mode may be switched reluctance mode and the low torque mode may be synchronous reluctance mode. The motor has a stator having two sets of armature windings, and a rotor having two sets of flux barriers each adapted to shape a magnetic flux distribution generated by a corresponding one of the sets of armature windings. The stator may comprise a plurality of teeth circumferentially spaced apart from one another around a rotation axis of the motor. The armature windings may include switched reluctance armature windings, each wrapped around a single stator tooth, and synchronous reluctance windings, each wrapped around multiple adjacent stator teeth. An inverter and controller may be connected to each set of armature windings for controlling the electronic switching of the armature windings. The inverter and controller are operable to toggle the motor between the two modes of operation using pulse-width modulation-like techniques.

摘要: The disclosure describes a system, method, device and server for establishing communication links in a network for a device. Communications may be carried from the device through an intermediary communication device to an access point in a wireless communication network. The method comprises: monitoring for a first trigger condition to seek the intermediary communication device, where the trigger condition is related to at least one of the communication device or the network; and upon detection of the first trigger condition identifying the intermediary communication device in the network, establishing a first connection between the communication device and the intermediary communication device and a second connection between the intermediary communication device and the access point to transmit communications from the communication device to the access point and transmitting a message from the communication device for the access device using the first connection and the second connection.
