    摘要: A method and apparatus for catching a rotating motor is described. Switches (typically the lower switches) of an inverter of a motor drive circuit are short-circuited for a brief period of time. The pulses generated by this process are analyzed to determine the speed and direction of rotation of the motor. The pulses are checked to determine whether they are orthogonal. If they are, the motor velocity determination is deemed to be reliable and then motor is magnetized and normal motor control can be resumed. If not, the motor velocity determination is deemed to be unreliable and a magnetization pulse before the velocity determination step is repeated.

    摘要: A battery-operated light bulb can be used as (i) a regular light bulb, inserted into a standard light socket to be powered off an electrical grid; (ii) an automatically battery back-up emergency and safety light bulb for operation when the electrical grid is offline; and (iii) a portable flashlight when separated from the light socket. The light bulb is also equipped with a motion sensor for turning on the light bulb when movement is detected; a timer for turning off the light bulb after a preset time period, and an ambient light sensor for adjusting the intensity of the light bulb depending on ambient light levels, with all of which the operation of the light bulb can be controlled so as to conserve power, to preserve battery life so it is available when needed in emergency situations, and to prolong the life of the bulb.

    摘要: Since a shape of a stator 44 is made mirror symmetric with respect to a rotor 45 as a 4-pole/6-slot type, rotational deflection of the rotor 45 can be suppressed. As the minimum number of poles and the minimum number of slots, which can suppress the rotational deflection of the rotor 45, a frequency of magnetic noises approaches a frequency of mechanical noises. Thus, it is possible to integrate the whole noises generated by the DR-side wiper motor 21 into a low frequency range thereof, and to make the acoustic sensitivity (dB) of a vehicle interior smaller. Since the stator 44 is fixed inside a housing 40 and mounting legs fixed to a vehicle body fixed portion are provided in the housing 40, the stator 40, which is a source of the magnetic noises, can be fixed to a vehicle via only the housing 40. Therefore, a brushless wiper motor with quietness improved further can be designed.
