摘要: A process for analyzing multidimensional vector data of a motion sensor for detecting a breathing motion, includes receiving and storing the multidimensional vector data of the motion sensor in a time series, calculating a plurality of medium-term vectors and of a plurality of long-term average vectors, calculating and storing a plurality of mean-free vectors depending on a difference between a respective medium-term vector and a respective long-term average vector and determining a plurality of unit vectors. The respective unit vector is oriented in a random direction. A plurality of scalar products are calculated from a respective mean-free vector and the unit vector assigned to the mean-free vector. A motion identification is calculated, which is an indicator of the breathing motion, based on the plurality of scalar products. An analysis signal is determined and output based on a comparison between the motion identification and a predefined motion threshold value.

摘要: A gas detection device and a process monitor an area for a combustible target gas. A heating segment of a detector (10) is heated when electrical current flows therethrough. A heating segment of a compensator (1) is heated when electrical current flows therethrough. An electrical voltage is applied to both the detector and the compensator. The heating of the detector (10) causes a combustible target gas to be oxidized in an interior of the gas detection device. A detection variable, which depends on the temperature (Temp_10) of the detector, and a detection variable, which depends on the temperature (Temp_11) of the compensator, are measured. A presence and/or a concentration of a target gas are determined as a function of the detection variables. A quality parameter is measured and increases as the detection variable depending on the detector temperature increases and as the detection variable depending on the compensator temperature decreases.

摘要: Beam-shaping laser optics are provided with a lens field (28) which comprises a plurality of first lenses (32) which are configured and arranged next to one another such that the plurality of first lenses (32) effect a beam shaping in a first direction (y) normal to an optical axis (x), as well as with an individual second lens (30) which is configured such that the individual second lens (30) effects a beam shaping in a second direction (z) normal to the optical axis as well (x) as well as the first direction (y). The lens field (28) and the second lens (30) are arranged in a beam path (12) one after the other along the optical axis (x). A laser system is provided with such beam optics.

摘要: A ventilation control unit (100), regulating a gas flow (102) within a ventilation system (105), includes a reception module (120), first and second calculation modules (130, 135) and an output module (140). The reception module has a signal interface (122) receiving inspiratory and expiratory flow signals (125, 127) at regular time intervals. The first calculation module calculates a leak flow (132) based on a difference between the current inspiratory gas flow and the current expiratory gas flow, with an external gas flow source (110) separated from a ventilation circuit of the ventilation system. The second calculation module calculates an external gas flow (136) after connecting the external gas flow source to the ventilation circuit based on the leak flow and the difference between the current inspiratory gas flow and the current expiratory gas flow. The output module outputs an output signal (142), based on the external gas flow.

摘要: The invention describes a method for manufacturing a plastic drain sheet, and a plastic drain sheet. For the purpose of manufacture, a sheet-like main body having a first surface and a second surface, spaced apart therefrom by a base sheet thickness, is provided. Grooves are introduced into the first surface and mating grooves are introduced into the second surface. The mating grooves and the grooves cross one another at crossing points. Through-openings between the grooves and the mating grooves are formed at the crossing points.
