Abstract: A system, for transcutaneous photodynamic therapy in an organ or organ segment of an organic body, includes a plurality of light applicators (9), a supply unit (23) and a placement template (39) placeable relative to the organic body for defined orientation of the light applicators. The light applicators include a needle-shaped insertion portion (15) for transcutaneous piercing along a piercing axis (E), a light-emitting applicator tip (19) at the distal end (13) of the insertion portion, and a fixing point (43) at a proximal distance d from the applicator tip. The placement template defines a plurality of fixing point receptacles (51) for fixing the light applicators with a defined fixing point and includes a first and second template parts (71, 75) defining first and second subsets (73, 77) of fixing point receptacles. The first template part is guidingly displaceable relative to the second template part along the piercing axis.

Abstract: A compressor (1), or ventilator/anesthesia device with the compressor, includes a housing, a rotatable impeller (6) connected via a drive shaft (4) to an electric motor (5) to deliver gas from an inlet (8), upstream on a suction side (7) through a flow duct (11) to a downstream outlet (10) on a delivery side (9). The compressor impeller is partially enclosed by the housing, as a collection housing (2) on the delivery side, and a cover element (12), on the suction side separated in sections from the compressor impeller by a gap (13). An uncoupling element (15) is arranged, for vibration damping and for at least partial sealing of the housing interior against a surrounding area (16), between the cover element and the collection housing and between a functional component (14) connected at least indirectly to the compressor impeller and/or to the electric motor and the collection housing.

Abstract: A safety helmet (100) includes an arched helmet shell (2), an arched shock-absorbing shell (1), a holding ring (3, 11) and a resilient element (14). The holding ring (3, 11) is permanently connected to the helmet shell (2). The shock-absorbing shell (1) adjoins a holding ring edge. The resilient element (14) is supported at the holding ring (3, 11), projects over the holding ring edge and acts to move the shock-absorbing shell (1) away from the holding ring (3, 11) and to press shock-absorbing shell (1) against the helmet shell (2). A process for manufacturing such a safety helmet (100) is provided. According to the process, first the shock-absorbing shell (1) is placed first into the helmet shell (2) and the holding ring (3, 11) is then attached to the helmet shell (2).

Abstract: A monitoring system (100) is provided for flight crew members (99), e.g., aviators, pilots, copilots or passengers, of airplanes or aircraft, e.g., airplanes or helicopters of the civil or military aviation, passenger planes in the scheduled or charter service, especially also ultrafast passenger planes. The monitoring system includes a sensor mechanism and a control unit configured to organize a procedure of a measurement-based monitoring of the gas composition of air, breathing air or breathing gases with the sensor mechanism in an airplane or aircraft, and to control or regulate the procedure. A measurement-based detection of gas concentrations is carried out with the sensor mechanism (60).

Abstract: A stacking device (8), handling plant and method for goods (2) in the form of layers of goods, includes a loading station (10) for feeding and/or removal of layers of goods (3), a stacking station (9) for the arrangement of a stack of containers, which include a mobile stack carrier (7) and inverted containers (4) that are stacked on the stack carrier, are open at the bottom and can be stacked on top of one another. A handling device (11) is arranged between the stacking station and the loading station and handles and moves the inverted container together with a layer of goods between the stacking station and the loading station. The stacking device includes a moveable stack transporter (12) and alternatingly arranges a filled stack of containers (5) with inverted containers with layers of goods and a buffering stack of containers (6) composed of empty inverted containers.

Abstract: A system, medical devices, network components, devices, processes and computer programs for medical devices and for network components are provided. The process (10) for a first medical device (400; 400b) for the use of a license-based system function of a network component (500) in a network (600) includes a transmission (11) of a request for an available license into the network (600) and a reception (12) of a reply from a second medical device. The reply indicates that a license for the system function is available at the second medical device. The process includes a request (13) for the available license from the second medical device and reception (14) of information on the available license from the second medical device. The process provides the system function based on the information on the license from the second medical device (400; 400a).

Abstract: A data analysis system includes a gas measuring device (2), providing current data and/or historical data, which are stored in a memory (3), and a data processing unit (1). The data includes information on a gas measuring device time of data acquisition. The device transmits data to an interface configured to receive the data and to feed data to the data processing unit and/or to an additional memory (5). A data identification unit (6) is configured to add a specific identifier to the data and add a piece of information on a system time during the data transmission and/or the gas measuring device time during the data transmission. The data processing unit is configured to process the data provided by the gas measuring device and/or by the additional memory such that the system time and the gas measuring device time are taken into consideration.

Abstract: A collecting unit, which receives secretion from a patient. The collecting unit comprises a cover (2) and a bag (3), which is mechanically connected to the cover (2). The bag (3) can be converted from a folded state, in which a portion of the bag (3) is folded about a fold axis (FA), into an unfolded state. Two overlapping overlap areas (3.1, 3.2) of the bag (3) that have each a connection area (VB.1, VB.2), are formed in the folded state. These connection areas (VB.1, VB.2) are detachably connected to one another, and preferably in a positively connected. The fold axis (FA) forms a common edge of the two overlap areas (3.1, 3.2).
