摘要: A light amplifying device includes, a light amplifying fiber to amplify a seed beam from a seed light source with an excitation beam from an excitation light source, and a controller. The controller causes the seed light source to emit the seed beam in an emission period in which the light amplifying fiber outputs the amplified light beam, causes the excitation light source to emit the excitation beam having first-level power in a non-emission period immediately before the emission period, and changes the excitation beam power to a second level higher than the first level at a beginning of the emission period. The controller increases the excitation beam power to a third level higher than the second level after starting of the emission period, and decreases gradually the excitation beam power from the third level to the second level.

摘要: First and second racks each has fixed positions to hold sample tubes. First and second drawers slide into and out of the case, and that support the first and second racks, respectively. A tube set unit is provided in an area close to the first rack in the case. A tube transfer unit removes sample tubes from the first and second racks in the case and a controller that controls a transfer operation of the tube transfer unit. The first rack is supported by the first drawer such that the first rack leaves a transit location in the case behind the first drawer in the direction of the first drawer movement into the case. The controller controls the tube transfer unit to remove at least one sample tube from the second rack and transfers the tube to the tube set unit via a path traversing the transit location.

摘要: A chamber that penetrates vertically is formed in a silicon substrate. A diaphragm is arranged on the upper surface of the silicon substrate so as to cover the upper opening of the chamber. The diaphragm is divided by slits into a region located above the chamber (first diaphragm) and a region located above the upper surface of the silicon substrate (second diaphragm). A fixed electrode plate is arranged above the first diaphragm, and a low-volume first acoustic sensing portion is formed by the first diaphragm and the fixed electrode plate. Also, a high-volume second acoustic sensing portion is formed by the second diaphragm and the upper surface (electrically conducting layer) of the silicon substrate.
