摘要： The invention concerns a method for routing a packet in a packet switching network in disconnected routing mode, implemented by a router, comprising the following steps:—receiving (E1) the packet;—reading (E2) a field, called the longevity field of the packet, intended to be decremented when traversing a router;—decrementing (E5) the value of the longevity field using a step of a predefined value, called the decrementation step;—deciding (E6) on the routing of the packet on the basis of the value of the decremented longevity field, the packet being destroyed (E7) when said value is less than or equal to zero; the method further comprising, prior to the step of decrementing, the following steps:—obtaining (E3) at least one item of information from a group of items of information comprising an item of information relative to routing conditions of the packet and an item of information relative to parameters of the packet;—determining (E4) the value of the decrementation step on the basis of at least the obtained information.

摘要： A tire inflator having an air compressor to inflate a tire to a predetermined pressure threshold. A central OBD module plugged into in a vehicle uses a short-range radio to transmit to the inflator the predetermined pressure threshold fit for a vehicle. An OBD vehicle bus reader can obtain a VIN of an associated vehicle model. A predetermined tire pressure threshold memory contains a predetermined look-up table of tire pressure thresholds for models. A processor uses the VIN to identify the vehicle model in the look-up table to select the one of the predetermined tire pressure thresholds including a spare tire pressure threshold. A short-range radio wirelessly transmits the looked-up tire pressure threshold including a spare tire pressure threshold to each inflator. The tire inflator has an optical moisture sensor on air inlet or air outlet. The air compressor is disabled when moisture is detected.

摘要： A back shaver has a body shaver handle and a flexible coupling for a blade cartridge comprising a sharp blade. The flexible coupling uses a material that allows the blade cartridge to pivot with respect to the body shaver handle. In some alternatives the flexible coupling uses rubber or another flexible material. In other alternatives the flexible coupling uses a mechanical pivot mechanism located near the inner side at an end of body shaver handle opposite the handle end and allowing the blade cartridge to move and pivot at alternate angles when pressed against a skin surface. The mechanical pivot mechanism can be located at in the blade cartridge or in the body shaver handle.

摘要： A system includes a phased array antenna that is used to emulate antennas that have larger solid angle coverage and lower gain compared to a single beam of the phased array antenna. This is achieved by switching between beams of the phased array antenna while receiving a wireless communication signal and summing representations of signal energy received using the different beams. The system can be used to narrow down the angular coordinates of a transmitting satellite by emulating antenna patterns that cover portions of a search space. The system can also be used to determine a channel discriminator (e.g., frequency, code, time slot) that defines a signal being transmitted.

摘要： A phased array antenna for an earth terminal for a low earth orbit satellite communication system. The phased array antenna includes a set of Quadrafilar Helical Antenna's (QHAs) elements that produce a peak directivity far off-axis which partially compensates for the angular dependence of satellite systems gain which peaks at relatively lower angle. 摘要： A multi-mode, multi-band antenna system for a handheld wireless device includes a Quadrafilar Helix Antenna (QHA) that radiates circularly polarized waves is fed by a co-axial cable. The co-axial cable is also used in combination with the QHA as a monopole antenna. Because of the distinct electromagnetic field patterns of the QHA versus the combination of the QHA and the co-axial cable operating as a monopole antenna, the cross coupling between the two modes is low. In certain embodiments the co-axial cable can itself be formed into a helix in order to reduce the physical length of the antenna system while maintaining an electrical length desired to supported certain frequency bands in the monopole mode. According to certain embodiments a post which also serves to increase the effective electric length of the co-axial cable and thereby support a lower frequency band is provided along the centerline of the QHA.
