Abstract: A hinged system includes a preassembled hinge module for pivotally coupling a first component to a second component. The preassembled hinge module includes a shaft, a torque element frictionally engaging the shaft, and a housing. The housing includes a cover, a side wall, and a rear wall that define an interior space enclosed within the housing. The interior space receives the torque element inside the housing. The cover defines a first aperture, and the rear wall defines a second aperture, the first aperture and the second aperture aligned with a pivot axis of the shaft. The shaft extends through at least the first aperture, the interior space, and the second aperture. The shaft is separate from, and configured to be mounted to, the first component. The housing is separate from, and configured to be mounted to, the second component.

Abstract: The invention relates to a process for the co-production of alkyl mercaptan and of dialkyl disulfide, comprising the following successive steps:
a) reaction of a C1-C4 alcohol in the presence of hydrogen sulfide (H2S) to form a stream (M) comprising an alkyl mercaptan, water, and possibly unreacted hydrogen sulfide,
b) purification of the stream (M) to obtain a stream (N) enriched in alkyl mercaptan,
c) recovery of a first portion of the stream (N) including the alkyl mercaptan purified in step b),
d) oxidation with sulfur of the second portion of the stream (N) of alkyl mercaptan, to form a stream (O) comprising a dialkyl disulfide, hydrogen sulfide, and possibly unreacted alkyl mercaptan,
e) purification of the stream (O) to separate, on the one hand, the enriched dialkyl disulfide and, on the other hand, the hydrogen sulfide and possibly the alkyl mercaptan that has not reacted in step d),
f) recycling of the hydrogen sulfide and possibly of the alkyl mercaptan isolated in step e) into the stream (M) obtained from step a),
g) recovery of the dialkyl disulfide isolated in step e).-

Abstract: A method for determining the distance between an authentication device carried by a user and a motor vehicle, each including a wireless communication module so as to exchange a data frame, the data frame being modulated by changing the phase of a reference signal. The method includes the following steps of: the vehicle receiving a modulated reference signal, sent by the device, demodulating the received signal in order to extract an in-phase component and a quadrature component therefrom, computing the power value of the signal on the basis of the maximum amplitude value of the in-phase component and of the maximum amplitude value of the quadrature component, and determining the distance between the device and the vehicle on the basis of the computed power value.
