    摘要: The present invention relates to a system for depressurisation of high pressure pipeline fluids. The system may provide for net power generation without the pressurised fluid undergoing liquefaction or solidification or unacceptable temperature reduction as a result of a Joule-Thompson process. The system is particularly relevant for depressurising high pressure natural gas pipelines in an energy efficient manner whilst making possible net power generation. The system for depressurisation of a pressurised fluid in a pipeline comprises at least one depressuriser for expanding the fluid in the pipeline to a lower pressure; and a transcritical heat pump for circulating a supercritical fluid, wherein the supercritical fluid undergoes cooling so as to release heat for transmission to the pressurised fluid in the pipeline prior to at least one expansion of said pressurised fluid.

    摘要: A polymer for filling gaps in a semiconductor substrate and a composition using the polymer are provided. According to the composition, holes having a diameter of 100 nm or less and an aspect ratio (i.e. a ratio between the diameter and height of the holes) of 1 or higher in semiconductor substrates can be substantially completely filled by common spin coating without formation of defects, e.g., air voids, the film can be dissolved by an aqueous alkaline solution (i.e. a developing solution) until a desired thickness is reached, the film is highly resistant to isopropyl alcohol (IPA) and plasma etching after curing by baking, and residue can be rapidly removed from the inside of the holes by ashing.

    摘要: The invention is a bicycle trainer to which a standard bicycle temporarily attaches for exercise and simulated rides. A lifting mechanism raises and lowers the front tire, and in preferred embodiments, a frame engages the rear tire to hold the rear tire in an elevated position against a resistance cylinder. The resistance cylinder provides a force against rear tire revolution and varies the resistance to pedaling. The resistance cylinder can vary resistance against back tire revolution by pumping a resistance fluid into and out of the cylinder, by changing the position of the resistance cylinder in relation to the back tire, or by translation of the bicycle back and forth. In other embodiments, the trainer is electronically controlled to simulate real-world geographical courses programmed into a readable format for electronically maneuvering front tire and back tire positions as necessary to provide resistance to pedaling.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a loose tube optical waveguide fiber cable that is suitable for riser or plenum applications. The cable includes a protective tube that loosely surrounds two or more optical waveguides inside the hollow cavity defined by the tube. The protective tube has an inner surface and an outer surface and is a dry structure. Accordingly, the protective tube does not contain any gel-like compounds or other materials around the optical fibers positioned inside the protective tube. Strengthening members are disposed between the inner surface of the protective tube and the outer surface of the protective tube. The strengthening members are configured as embedded or layered strengthening elements and are disposed longitudinally along the length of the cable.
