Abstract:
A wireless connection system having at least one host device and at least one client device is disclosed. The client device is brought close to the host device, near field wireless communications are performed and an authentication process of authenticating the client device is performed with connection setting information through the near field wireless communications when wireless communications are performed between the host device and the client device based on a predetermined wireless communication standard. When the client device has been successfully authenticated with the connection setting information in the authentication process, the client device is permitted to perform the wireless communications. When the client device has not been successfully authenticated with the connection setting information in the authentication process, the client device is not permitted to perform the wireless communications.

A solid-state imaging device includes a pixel array unit in which unit pixels are arranged in a matrix shape and a signal processing circuit that obtains a first video signal and performs processing for combining the first and second video signals. The signal processing circuit includes judging means that judges whether a pixel of interest in the pixel array unit is a pixel to be saturated during an exposure period, calculating means that sets the pixel of interest as a correction pixel and calculates a correction amount on the basis of a luminance value of the second video signal of a peripheral pixel of the correction pixel, and correcting means that applies the correction amount to a luminance value of the first video signal of the correction pixel to thereby correct a noise signal amount due to photo-charges leaking from the peripheral pixel into the correction pixel.

An LCD panel having analog display mode and memory display mode includes a capacitive element and first to third switch elements. The first switch element turns ON during a first operation for writing pixel potential from a signal line to the capacitive element, and turns OFF during a second operation. The second and third switch elements turn OFF during the first operation. The second switch element turns ON during a readout period of a second operation, to read out the pixel potential from the capacitive element. The third switch element turns ON during a write period in the second operation, to rewrite the pixel potential into the capacitive element.

The present invention relates to coding method and coding device that allow Rate-Compatible LDPC (low-density parity-check) codes to have favorable BER performance both with a low code rate and with a high code rate. In coding of LDPC codes that have plural code rates and whose all parity check matrices are composed of plural cyclic matrices, a coder 121 performs the coding in such a way that 1
