    摘要: A system and method for mitigating motion artifacts in a media streaming network, wherein a scheme for facilitating adaptive post-decode (PD) filtering at a client device is provided. Extraction of still area grid information is effectuated at a source media processing node. Extracted still area grid information is multiplexed with audio/video components for appropriately signaling to downstream devices based on media containerization deployed for distribution. A client device is operative to select a suitable PD filter based on a plurality of selection criteria and apply the selected PD filter to the still area grids of the decoded image frames.

    摘要: A method permits a UE receiver to detect and report to the network a scrambling code collision (i.e., two neighbor cells transmitting with the same scrambling code while timing is aligned). The UE receiver decodes the PCCPCH's physical channel with all the associated broadcast information while a scrambling code collision at the UE is present. The UE reports SFN-SFN information to the network, to insure the UE mobility and then prepare the handover to a new detected cell. This process and a respective apparatus are usable in the presence of MIMO and further improve the detection of the scrambling code collision in the presence of MIMO.

A channel is defined, identifying the source and at least one sink, and this includes the definition of a transport profile, indicating a flow control requirement for the data. Data is then transmitted from the source over the bus in at least one data time slot (30) and, if indicated by the transport profile, flow control information is also transmitted from the source over the bus in at least one flow control time slot (20) associated with the data time slot.

    摘要: A thermal gradient is induced in a device-under-test (DUT) and used to determine the location of a defect. In one embodiment, a static thermal gradient is induced across at least a portion of the DUT along a first axis. The thermal gradient is incrementally walked along the first axis until the condition associated with the defect is triggered, thereby defining a first region. The thermal gradient is then induced along a second axis of the DUT and the process is repeated to define a second region. The location of the defect is determined to be the intersection of the first region with the second region.

    摘要: A radiation power level compliance and control scheme for a wireless user equipment (UE) device including one or more tunable elements. The wireless UE device comprises a component configured to detect one or more changes with respect to at least one operational parameter associated with the wireless UE device. A component is provided for determining that a tunable action is required with respect to at least one of the tunable elements. Upon defining one or more tunable element settings, a component is configured to determine a Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) value, which is compared against an acceptable limit. If the SAR is within the limit, appropriate tuning control signals are provided to the tunable elements according to the defined tunable element settings. If the SAR is not within the limit or is about to exceed the limit, then the tunable element settings may be changed and retested.
