摘要： A vacuum-canister that combines the vacuum, dustpan, and trashcan all in one is disclosed herein. The vacuum-canister saves time by allowing the completion of multiple tasks simultaneously. The vacuum-canister can suction both large and small items. Small items are suctioned through the wand extension feature into the dust and trash filter bin. Some larger items can be suctioned through the dustpan and carried to the dust and trash filter bin. Other larger items that are not suctioned can be delivered to the trashcan automatically. The functionality of the vacuum-canister not only saves time, but also minimizes potential aches and pains as a result of daily manual cleaning activities.

摘要： A rope edge protection system having a rope protection mat and an edge protection mat in combination for the protection of rope. The rope protection mat is a generally rectangular sheet that can be secured in a sleeve-like configuration around a climbing rope and move along the rope with the user. The edge protection mat is a generally rectangular sheet with loops on each corner, but not limited to the corners, to secure the sheet in place against a building or other structure. The edge protection mat is a multi-layer sheet with a high loft layer to decrease the bend radius of the rope across a ledge. Both the rope protection mat and the edge protection mat include visual safety indicators.

摘要： A pivot bar in the nature of a screw with a head and a threaded portion for lateral adjustment at the site of a window installation is provided. A receiver is integrally formed in the bottom rail of a window sash, the receiver defined as a channel sized and shaped to frictionally engage with the threaded portion of the screw to structurally support the pivot bar during use. The pivot bar is rotatably engaged to position the threads within the receiver and laterally adjusted relative to the distance between the window sash and the window jamb such that the screw head mates with the pivot bar shoe associated in the corresponding window jamb, accounting for any measuring variances between the window jamb and the window sash. A method of installing a laterally adjustable pivot bar is also provided.

摘要： An improved tilt latch bolt for a double-hung window with a groove or channel formed in either the biased or planar portion of the bolt nose for engaging a portion of the window frame when the window is under duress is disclosed herein. The grooves and channels define a depth of at least five thousandths of an inch (0.127 cm). The deformable cantilever, by virtue of being formed above, and extending over the channel, is resilient such that were a portion of the window jamb to clear the width of channel, the deformable cantilever provides a small degree of tolerance to capture the wayward window jamb before it inadvertently rotates out of the sash, for example in inclement weather conditions.
