    摘要: Methods and systems for hydrating and calibrating an electrochemical sensor are disclosed. The method comprises providing an electrochemical sensor, providing a calibration solution to a measuring chamber of the electrochemical sensor, contacting the sensor with the calibration solution within the measuring chamber, exposing the sensor and the calibration solution to an elevated temperature, and over a cooling period, cooling the sensor and the calibration solution with a tempering device, wherein the temperature is controllable within a device error range of temperature, performing a plurality of calibrations of the sensor, wherein a calibration of the plurality of calibrations is valid for a calibration margin of temperature error, the calibration margin of temperature error exceeds the device error range of temperature, and controlling a decrease of the temperature of the sensor and the calibration solution not to exceed the calibration margin of temperature error between consecutive calibrations of the sensor.

    摘要: A vehicle LED lighting outage detection circuit is disclosed for detecting a fault in the LED light and automatically increasing the power drawn from the light power supply in response to the fault. A complementary detection circuit is also disclosed for detecting the increased power draw and signaling a fault to an operator. The increased power draw can be selected to be in the form of a pulse that settles to a lower power draw state after a time to avoid excessive and wasteful power draw. The system can be mounted in a vehicle and, more particularly, to a semi-tractor truck, or installed as a retrofit system into an existing semi-trailer system.

    摘要: Among other things, there are disclosed embodiments of a valve implant that in particular examples are implantable within a blood vessel, which include a first set of elongate members, a second set of elongate members, and a hood affixed to the first set of elongate members. The first set of elongate members is resiliently deformable, and their distal ends are flared radially outward. The distal ends of the second set of elongate members are distal to the ends of the first set of elongate members. The hood is affixed to the first set of elongate members, and seals against the interior wall of the blood vessel in an expanded configuration. When blood flows from the proximal to the distal side of the valve implant, it presses on the hood, compressing the first set of elongate members, breaking the seal.
