    Abstract: A valve may be mounted on a case that houses a battery. The valve may be configured to open and close a gas outlet through which gas inside the case escapes to outside of the case. The valve may include: a first valve body configured to open and close the gas outlet; an elastic member configured to press the first valve body toward the gas outlet; and a support configured to support the elastic member. The first valve body may include: a first pressure receiving surface facing inside of the case via the gas outlet; and a second pressure receiving surface located around the first pressure receiving surface. The second pressure receiving surface may be configured to receive a pressure of gas escaping from the gas outlet to the outside of the case when the first valve body opens the gas outlet.

    Abstract: An EGR valve includes: an inner housing including a flow passage; a valve element which opens and closes the flow passage; a valve shaft on which the valve element is provided; an outer housing in which the inner housing is assembled; and a drive unit which drives the valve shaft. The flow passage of the inner housing includes an inlet and an outlet. The outer housing includes an assembly hole and separate flow passages. When the inner housing is assembled in the assembly hole, the inlet and the outlet of the inner housing communicate with the separate flow passages of the outer housing; an inlet sealing member is provided between the inner housing and the outer housing to correspond to the periphery of the inlet; and an outlet sealing member is provided between the inner housing and the outer housing to correspond to the periphery of the outlet.

    Abstract: A leakage detector includes a pressure sensor for detecting the pressure in a detecting target area of the fuel vapor treatment system and a controller. The controller measures the pressure in the detecting target area at a certain point in time. The controller then determines whether the measured pressure satisfies a condition for leakage detection by a vapor pressure device. When the controller determines that the condition is satisfied, the controller selects the vapor pressure device. When the controller determines that the condition is not satisfied, the controller predicts the change in vapor pressure at a subsequent temperature based on a saturated vapor pressure characteristic of the fuel. If it is determined the pressure in the detecting target will satisfy a predetermined condition, the controller selects a pressure application device. If it is determined that the predetermined condition will be satisfied, the controller selects the vapor pressure device.

    Abstract: This EGR valve system is provided with a valve assembly, and a plurality of housing adapters. The valve assembly is provided with a housing including a flow passage, a valve seat provided in the flow passage, a valve element provided in the flow passage in such a way as to be capable of seating against the valve seat, a valve shaft on which the valve element is provided, and a driving unit for driving the valve shaft. The housing adapters include assembly holes, inlet flow passages which communicate with the assembly holes, and outlet flow passages. One of the housing adapters is selectively combined with the valve assembly, the housing of the valve assembly is assembled in the assembly hole of the selected housing adapter. In this assembled state, the inlet flow passage communicates with an inlet port, and the outlet flow passage communicates with an outlet port.

    Abstract: A fuel supply device is insertable into a fuel tank through an opening formed in an upper wall of the fuel tank in an insertion direction. The fuel supply device includes a flange unit and a pump unit coupled to the flange unit. The pump unit includes a guide member extending in the insertion direction. The guide member is configured to abut on an opening periphery so as to guide the pump unit when the pump unit is inserted into the fuel tank. A guide surface of the guide member includes a concave surface.
