    摘要: A lens barrier is opened/closed by a barrier drive cylinder disposed on an outer peripheral side of a lens. The barrier drive cylinder is rotated by a rotation of a cam cylinder together with a first cylinder so as to move forward and backward. In the course of a movement of the lens from a retracted position to a shooting position, the barrier drive cylinder rotates such that a drive ring biased to an opening direction by a spring is driven into an opening direction. The barrier is, thus, opened. When the lens is moved from the shooting position to the retracted position, the operation reverse to the aforementioned is performed to close the barrier. An annular seal member is provided into the space between the barrier drive cylinder and the first cylinder so as to prevent water from entering into the barrel.

The film guide ensures that the film is properly wound on the take-up spool by preventing it from prematurely curling within the spool chamber. The film guide also ensures that magnetic recording operations performed on the film by a recording head, if present, are also reliably performed.

    摘要: A device for detecting perforations in film includes a camera body or other optical instrument body. A pressure plate is disposed at a rear of the body and has a channel that allows access of a sensor output to detect and read film position via the recognition of such perforations in the moving film as it passes through the camera or optical instrument body. The pressure plate maintains the alignment of the film relative to the body. An installation board is aligned and mounted adjacent a rear of the pressure plate. A sensor is attached to the installation board. The sensor is disposed to face a section of the film having perforations through the channel of the pressure plate as the film moves along a film path. The sensor transmits electronic signals corresponding to the position of perforations of the film as the film moves along the film path. The invention provides for the efficient and economical construction of a device having a sensor for detecting perforations in film.

    摘要: The object of the present invention is to enable reliable supply of oxygen which is necessary for a fuel cell to generate electric power, to the fuel cell. In a bottom surface of a casing of a camera, a tripod socket for mounting a tripod is disposed in the vicinity of the right end portion, and air orifices for linking the space inside a cell compartment for accommodating a fuel cell with the outside of the casing is disposed in the vicinity of the left end portion, respectively. As a result, even when the tripod is connected to the camera, the air orifices are not closed by the pan head of the tripod, oxygen (air) can be constantly supplied to the fuel cell accommodated inside the cell compartment, and the fuel cell can continuously generate a sufficient quantity of electricity.
