摘要: A beverage container closure or lid that is adapted for closing an open end of a beverage container. The lid is selectively couplable to the beverage container and includes a selectively openable stopper that when closed, creates a fluid-tight seal between the beverage container and the environment. The stopper may be selectively opened by a user when the user presses a button disposed on a side of the beverage container closure. The stopper is subsequently automatically closed when the user releases the button. Thus, a user may open and close the beverage container closure using a single hand without the need to remove the beverage container closure from the beverage container.

摘要: “Corrosion” performance of an optical filter is enhanced when a relatively thick zinc-based film functions as a seed layer for a subsequently formed silver-based film. At least two pairs of dielectric and metallic layers are included within the optical filter, where the zinc-based film is a second film of the dielectric layer and where the silver-based film is the metallic layer. The zinc-based film has a zinc content of at least 80 percent and has a thickness of at least 15 nm. In order to further improve the corrosion performance, gold may be incorporated into the silver-based film.

摘要: Arrangement and packaging for pre-filled cocktail glasses of the type which includes a stem base, a stem connected at a first end to the stem base, and a bowl portion connected to a second end of the stem and being constructed to hold a cocktail. The bowl portion has an open mouth defined by a rim from which a person drinks the cocktail. The pre-filled cocktail glass further includes a removable seal member that extends across the bowl portion and is attached to the rim to sealingly contain the liquid within the bowl portion, and a cover that is removably coupled to the rim. The cover has a recessed platform for receiving a stem base of another cocktail glass to permit stacking of two cocktail glasses. The recessed platform has a floor that can be spaced from the seal member, and the cover can be constructed such that the floor remains spaced from the seal member when a load equal to the weight of another pre-filled cocktail glass is received in the recessed platform and supported by the floor thereof.
