Abstract: Adjustable rail apparatuses and external bone and/or tissue fixation system including an adjustable rail apparatus is disclosed. The rail apparatuses comprise first and second external fixation beam elements with alignment grooves, and a joint coupling the first and second beam elements and configured to selectively adjust the relative angular and rotational arrangement of the first and second beam elements. The joint also comprises a first and second beam end housings rotationally fixed to the first and second external fixation beam elements, respectively. The joint also comprises first and second clamp members axially and rotationally fixed to the first and beam end housings, respectively. The joint also comprises first and second rotation end housings coupled with the first and second clamp members, respectively, the first and second rotation end housings being selectively rotatably adjusted with respect to the first and second clamp members, respectively, within fixed ranges of rotation.

Abstract: Surgical constructs, assemblies, and methods for rotator cable reinforcement with a flexible coupler and an optional reinforcement material. The rotator cable between the attachment points is reinforced with a suture in different configurations. The anchor points are located at the insertion sites of the rotator cable and a continuous stitch reinforces the rotator cable. The continuous stitch bridges the cable footprint insertion points, to displace forces from the rotator cuff tendon.

Abstract: Surgical constructs, assemblies and methods of elbow repair and reconstruction are disclosed. A center of rotation guide has specific dimensions configured to be secured on either the lateral or medial side of the elbow. At one end, the guide is provided with a plurality of full concentric through-holes (circles of different diameters) with bisecting lines every 90 degrees to identify the center of rotation on the lateral and medial epicondyle. At another end, the guide is provided with a linear pattern of through-holes or apertures located about the centerline of the guide. The linear pattern of through-holes identifies the attachment point on the ulnar tuberosity. The concentric and linear pattern through-holes of the guide are sized to receive instrumentation such as K-wire guides and/or drill guides. One or more spikes or tines are provided on the bottom of the guide for stabilization during use.

An example surgical system includes a first press component defining a cavity configured to receive harvested tissue, and a second press component including a projection insertable into the cavity. Further, at least one of the first and second press components are made of a transparent or semi-transparent material such that when harvested tissue is in the cavity and when the projection is inserted into the cavity, the harvested tissue is visible through at least one of the first and second press components.

Abstract: Surgical constructs, assemblies, kits and methods of tissue fixation are disclosed. Glenoid augmentation is conducted with one or more soft tissue grafts placed on the anterior glenoid to fill a glenoid defect. Knotted or knotless suture anchors can deliver and fixate the soft tissue graft within the glenoid bone defect. Suture anchors can also secure the native ligament to the soft tissue graft and provide stability to the shoulder joint. Soft suture anchors can deliver and fixate a soft tissue graft within the bone defect. The native soft tissue can be repaired over top of the soft tissue graft into its anatomical position.
