The product dispenser may include at least one macro-ingredient source, at least one micro-ingredient source positioned about the dispenser, a diluent source, a dispensing valve, a number of pumps or metering devices, and a user interface. The user interface receives a request for a product type and instructs the pumps or metering devices to dispense a predetermined type and ratio of macro-ingredients, micro-ingredients, and diluent to the dispensing valve for a predetermined flow rate.

摘要: A product dispenser for use with a container. The product dispenser may include a container motion detector to detect the container in motion, a graphical user interface, and a microprocessor. The microprocessor receives a plurality of data associated with the container in motion from the container motion detector and implements instructions that perform the steps of determining the motion of the container, enabling a user to interact with the graphical user interface, and allowing the user to rotate or move the container to select a product type from the graphical user interface.

摘要: A package for dispensing a carbonated beverage pre-mix in the micro-gravity conditions of outer space comprises a rigid container, a collapsible bag affixed to the container, a valve in communication with the bag and a cap for enclosing the valve. Between the bag and rigid container, a space is defined in which pressurized gas is injected. The pressurized gas maintains the carbonation in solution during storage. Upon removal of the cap from the container, the pressurized gas is automatically vented from the space. The valve is then opened and the pre-mix can be sucked from the package by a consumer. An elastomeric spring in the valve will return the valve to a closed position when the valve is released and the cap may be replaced on the rigid container. While the pre-mix can be dispensed in the micro-gravity conditions of outer space, the package can be filled with the pre-mix on earth. First, the valve is opened and carbonated pre-mix is filled into the bag. The valve is then closed and the safety cap is screwed on the package. Finally, pressurized gas is injected in the space through a filling port which is then sealed.

摘要: A concentrate supply assembly for a post-mix beverage dispenser includes a plurality of containers for concentrate with discharge openings through which concentrate may flow. A plurality of conduits are coupled to the discharge openings and are in fluid communication with concentrate disposed within the containers. A multi-channel linear pump is provided with a pump body or bodies, including bores disposed within the pump bodies, pistons operatively mounted within the bores for reciprocation and piston shafts connected to the pistons. An A.C. synchronous motor is connected to the piston shafts for imparting constant-speed reciprocal motion to the piston shafts and to the pistons disposed within the bores. Inlet ports are in fluid communication with the conduits and bores for supplying concentrate thereto during a reciprocal motion of the pistons in a first direction. Outlet ports are in fluid communication with the bores for discharging concentrate from the bores during a reciprocal motion of the pistons in a reverse direction. A ball joint connection is provided between the piston shafts and the motor for enabling accurate positioning of the piston connected to the piston shaft within the bore.
