摘要: A detachable saddle bag pet carrier is disclosed. The carrier comprises a box-like container provided with an upper portion that forms part of the container top. The container includes a plurality of vent openings for circulating air flow inside the carrier. The carrier further comprises a lid hinged to the upper portion of the container. The lid includes one or more air vents that could be adjusted from wide open position to fully closed position. The upper portion comprises a skylight mounted on the lid through which a pet could see the outside environment. The carrier is further provided with a removable foam backed carpet placed underneath the container for the pet. The carrier is mounted on the vehicle using a frame assembly to hold the carrier to the vehicle, thereby a user carries the pet within the carrier.

摘要: An apparatus for making SMC comprising a conveyor belt assembly having a feed end and a transfer end. The conveyor belt assembly including a belt having an outer surface and an inner surface. A cutting support structure disposed between the feed end and the transfer end, and in contact with the inner surface. A cutting wheel having a perimeter surface and disposed adjacent to the cutting support structure. A feed tension member proximate the outer surface and disposed between the feed end and the cutting wheel. The feed tension member positions the fiber rovings onto the outer surface to be cut by the cutting wheel. The feed tension member, cutting wheel and belt cooperate to feed the fiber rovings at a feed rate, cut the fiber rovings into a plurality of parallel discontinuous fibers, and convey the fibers at substantially the same rate as the feed rate.

摘要: A fuel injector. The fuel injector includes a fuel channel configured to receive pressurized gaseous fuel from a fuel rail, and a nozzle in fluid communication with the fuel channel. The fuel injector also includes a pintle having an opened position and a closed position, wherein pressurized gaseous fuel is delivered from the nozzle when the pintle is in the opened position and wherein introduction of the pressurized gaseous fuel is substantially blocked when the pintle is in the closed position. A support aligns the pintle with the nozzle. A pintle controller is configured to selectively move the pintle between the closed position and the opened position.

摘要: An improved optical inspection system for detecting flaws on a diffractive surface containing surface patterns includes: an ultraviolet illumination means for illuminating a region on the diffractive surface to generate a scattered intensity distribution in response to either a flaw or a surface pattern; means for detecting the intensity level of the scattered intensity distribution at a plurality of locations about the diffractive surface; means for establishing a minimum detected intensity level; means, responsive to the minimum detected intensity level, for indicating the absence of a flaw on the illuminated region of the diffractive surface when the minimum detected intensity level is below a threshold intensity level and for indicating the presence of a flaw on the illuminated region of the diffractive surface when the minimum detected intensity level exceeds the threshold intensity level; and means for moving the diffractive surface to generate a scan pattern on the diffractive surface to inspect the entire surface.

摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed for providing event notification to navigational applications and devices. An event notification system determines whether to send application information to a navigation application or device based upon the proximity of the device to the event. In other embodiments, the event notification system sends all event information to the device and the device determines whether or not to display the information based upon the proximity of the event to the device. User interfaces for displaying event information to a user are also disclosed. Finally, system and methods are disclosed for providing disaster related information to service providers who, in turn, send the disaster information to users of personal navigation devices. For example, information provided may include evacuation routes, shelter locations, disaster recovery centers, hospitals, points of distribution, economic recovery locations, etc.
