    摘要: A device, for trapping an item in an intake hose of a vacuum before the item reaches a collection bin of the vacuum, includes a body and a screen. The body has a chamber, an entrance, and an exit. The chamber is configured such that when the chamber is coupled to an intake hose of a vacuum and the vacuum draws fluid into the intake hose, the fluid flows through the chamber. The entrance is couplable with an intake hose of a vacuum and configured such that when fluid flows through the body's chamber, the fluid enters the chamber through the entrance. The exit is coupleable with the intake hose of a vacuum and configured such that when fluid flows through the body's chamber, the fluid leaves the chamber through the exit. The screen of the device is disposed inside the body's chamber, and sized and configured to allow fluid that the vacuum draws in to flow through the body's chamber while preventing large objects suspended in the fluid from flowing through the body's chamber.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a method for merging regions in the image/video, capable of merging plural of image regions into an image merging region. In the disclosed method, these image regions are first sequenced basing on their compactness value. Then, one of these image regions is designated as a reference image region, and a merging test process is executed by merging the reference image region with one of the nearby image regions thereof in sequence, for forming a temporal image merging region. Later, the compactness value of the temporal image merging region is compared with the compactness value of the two consisting image regions thereof, respectively. When the compactness value of the temporal image merging region is larger than either one of the compactness value of the two consisting image regions thereof, the temporal image merging region is designated as an image merging region.

    摘要: An exemplary welding nozzle has a smooth, highly polished bore of circular cross-section. The bore has a forward portion of generally flared, gradually curving shape, joined with a narrowing inner portion along a gradual curve. Hence a concentrated surface flow of shielding gas may be directed out the nozzle's mouth to reliably provide a flared shielding envelope having reinforced boundaries. The inner portion tapers inwardly at a constant angle for a length sufficient to dampen flow disturbances. Hence an inner core of shielding gas of high ionization potential may be directed in laminar flow out the nozzle's mouth for concentration immediately about the exposed electrode to stabilize the electric arc at the electrode tip. The diverging gas flows enable significantly reduced gas consumption while reliably maintaining weld quality, a reduced rate of spatter buildup within the nozzle, and increased versatility of welding tip operation in both automated and manual environments.
