    摘要: In a centrifugal separator and method for cleaning of gas containing solid and liquid impurities. A stationary casing encloses a separation space through which gas flows. An inlet channel extends to the separation space and forms an inlet for the gas to be cleaned. A rotating member is provided in the separation space downstream the inlet and rotates about an axis of rotation. The rotating member comprises a number of separation discs and brings the gas to rotate for separating by means of centrifugal forces a main part of the impurities from the gas. A gas outlet channel is provided downstream the rotating member for discharging the cleaned gas. A first outlet is provided for discharging the impurities. A supply member is configured to permit the supply of a separation aid humidifying the particles, which aid is in the form of an aerosol, to the gas to be cleaned.

    摘要: Centrifugal separator comprising a rotor, which forms an inlet for the liquid which is to be centrifugally treated and an outlet chamber (17) for a liquid separated in the rotor, the outlet chamber (17) surrounding the rotational axis and being so designed that liquid present in the outlet chamber during operation rotates around the rotational axis and has a radially inward facing circular free liquid surface at a certain radial level in the rotor. A stationary discharge device ( 21 ) extends in the outlet chamber (17) from the liquid body radially inward to a central outlet (25) and in the area of the free liquid surface it forms an inlet opening (23), which is directed toward the rotational direction of the liquid body and partly is located in the liquid body, the discharge device also forming a flow channel (28), which connects the inlet opening (23) to the central outlet. To obtain a high outlet pressure with minor risk of air admixture and good stability, the inlet opening (23) is delimited by an edge, which upstream has a front edge portion (30) radially inside the free liquid surface and downstream has a rear edge portion (31) radially outside the free liquid surface, a straight line (32) drawn through said edge portions (30, 31) forming an angle (V) with a tangent to the free liquid surface at the inlet opening (23), the angle being greater than 20.degree. but smaller than 50.degree. and the vertex of the angle being directed in the rotational direction.

    摘要: A centrifugal separator having a device for the transformation of kinetic energy of a liquid rotating in a chamber (12) to pressure energy comprising a discharge element (17) for the discharge of liquid out of the chamber. The discharge element (17) has a surface (20) arranged to be so located in the rotating liquid body that liquid flows in a predetermined direction along and in contact with the surface (20). The discharge element (17) forms an outlet channel (19) having an inlet opening (22) located in said surface (20), and limited downstreams by a cross edge (25) from which the outlet channel (19) extends a bit essentially in said predetermined direction. An increased outlet pressure is achieved by the fact that at least two passages (27, 28) are arranged in the discharge element (17) connecting a part each of the outlet channel located at axial ends of the cross edge (25), respectively, to the chamber (12) in such a manner that liquid flows through the passages (27, 28 ).

    摘要: The present invention concerns a centrifugal separator comprising a rotor, which forms an inlet (12) for a liquid mixture, a separation chamber (5), connected to the inlet (12), for separation of components in a liquid formed mixture and a discharge chamber (10). The discharge chamber is delimited by two axially separated end walls (12, 13) and a circumferential wall (14) extending between these and has an inlet (11, 11a) connected to the separation chamber (5), an outlet in a discharge device (17) arranged in the discharge chamber (10), and means, which together with parts of the inner surfaces of the discharge chamber (10) are arranged, during operation of the rotor, to entrain into rotation a component present in the discharge chamber (10) so that this forms a rotating liquid body. This liquid body has a radially inwards directed, essentially cylindrical, free liquid surface radially inside the circumferential wall (14). The discharge device (17) extends during operation from a central liquid free, part of the discharge chamber (10) to a level radially outside the free liquid surface. In order to gently into rotation entrain the component present in the discharge chamber (10) and make a discharge possible out of it with a small degree of air admixing the centrifugal separator according to the invention is provided with entraining means comprising at least one annular disc (19, 19a, 19b, 19c) extending around the rotational axis of the rotor which is fixedly connected to the rotor and has at least one part extending radially outside the level of the free liquid surface but radially inside the level of the outermost part of the discharge device (17).

    摘要: The invention refers to a centrifugal separator for cleaning of a gas containing liquid impurities. The centrifugal separator comprises a stationary casing, which encloses a separation space and has an inner wall surface. A rotating member is provided in the separation space and arranged to rotate in a direction of rotation around an axis (x) of rotation. The rotating member brings the gas to rotation for separation of the liquid impurities from the gas. A gas outlet is provided for discharge of the cleaned gas. A first liquid outlet is provided downstream the rotating member for discharge of separated liquid impurities. The separation space comprises an annular surface which extends between the rotating member and the inner wall surface. The annular surface is configured to transport liquid impurities radially outwardly to the first liquid outlet.

    摘要: This document describes a device for cleaning of crankcase gases from a combustion engine, and a combustion engine having such a device. An inlet conduit is connected to a crankcase of the combustion engine. A centrifugal separator receives a flow of crankcase gases from the crankcase via the inlet conduit and comprises a routable centrifuge rotor for centrifuging the crankcase gases. A drive device drives the centrifuge rotor. An outlet conduit discharges cleaned crankcase gases from the centrifugal separator. The rotary speed of the drive device, and thus the rotary speed of the centrifuge rotor, is controllable depending on the gas pressure in the crankcase. An export conduit may be connected to the inlet conduit and adapted to enable discharge of a flow of crankcase gases from the crankcase by-passing the centrifugal separator depending on the gas pressure in the crankcase. An import conduit may be connected to the inlet conduit and adapted to enable feeding of a flow of air from the surroundings to the crankcase depending on the gas pressure in the crankcase.

    摘要: Upon cleaning of crankcase gas generated during operation of an internal combustion engine in its crankcase, a centrifugal separator is used, which includes a rotor arranged for rotation by means of a driving motor and arranged by its rotation suck crankcase gas from the crankcase through a conduit to the centrifugal separator. During operation of the combustion engine a parameter, e.g. a measurement of the load on the combustion engine is sensed, the magnitude of said parameter being related to the amount of crankcase gas generated per unit of time in the crankcase. Depending upon a sensed change of the sensed parameter the rotational speed of the rotor of the centrifugal separator is changed in a way such that the gas pressure in the crankcase is maintained at a predetermined value, or within a predetermined pressure interval, during the operation of the combustion engine.
