    摘要: A cap for a quick connect fitting assembly is a unitary component having a terminal portion and a body portion extending from the terminal portion to define an inner cavity. The body portion defines a first opening opposite the terminal portion and a second opening extending from the first opening toward the terminal portion. The terminal portion has a first locating feature and the body portion has a second locating feature. The first locating feature and the second locating feature are spaced relative to one another such that the unitary component will connect to the quick connect fitting assembly with both of the locating features contacting predetermined locations of the quick connect fitting assembly only if a male fitting is inserted into a female fitting to a predetermined position, the unitary component thus ensuring proper connection of the quick connect fitting assembly. A method of assembly using the cap is also provided.

The method can be performed after each memory access, or can be performed whenever convenient with a counter and a rejuvenate command.

    摘要: A counting scheme for a non-volatile counter includes automatic point-of-reference generation implemented in a state machine. Two state variables are used to store the rotation history of the magnet. One variable stores the previous position of the magnet and the other stores the net angle traveled by the magnet from the reference point. The first pulse location after the counter is reset is automatically selected as the reference point until the next counter reset. When the nonvolatile counter counts up or down, i.e. when the magnet travels 360° in either direction, the second state variable is set to zero and the first state variable is set to the reference point, indicating the start of a new revolution.

    摘要: An integrated circuit first-in, first-out ("FIFO") memory device comprises an input bus for receiving data, an input buffer coupled to the input bus for storing the data and at least one dynamic random access memory ("DRAM") array coupled to the input buffer. A write pointer is operative for storing the data in the input buffer to a location within the memory array indicated and an output bus is coupled to the memory array and a read pointer for providing previously written data from the memory array at a location indicated by the read pointer. In a preferred embodiment, the FIFO further comprises at least one static random access memory ("SRAM") cache interposed between the input and output buses and the memory array having a width corresponding to each row of the memory array. In an alternative embodiment, the FIFO memory device includes a "Retransmit" feature which allows data to be read from the device multiple times as well as the Read Pointer to be selectively placed under user control. In a specific embodiment, the Read or Output bus may also be used as an address bus.

    摘要: A data communication system receives data signals transmitted via a signal path and applies to the received signal a high-pass function including a low-pass filter and a summing circuit. The signal is low-pass filtered, and the summing circuit subtracts the filtered signal from the received signal to generate a high-pass signal, which is summed with a quantized-feedback signal to generate a recovered data signal. The quantized-feedback signal is provided by applying to the recovered data signal a low-pass function having a transfer function which is substantially complementary to the transfer function of the high-pass function. The low-pass function low-pass filters the recovered data signal to generate the quantized-feedback signal.
