摘要: A beverage cooler has a low voltage DC supply (311) usable by the controller ancillaries, such as lighting (318), the DC supply also providing the supply voltage to a microprocessor (313) which electronically commutates at least one of the motors (305, 306, 307) associated with beverage cooling to provide a required speed or loading. The microprocessor also responds to and controls the cooler ancillaries, such as lighting, temperature and status reporting thereby allowing a reduced component count.

摘要: A method for representing in a database selective objects and data in a distributed directory is disclosed. A distributed directory is accessed. The directory is searched for selective objects and selective associated attributes that satisfy predetermined criteria. One or more records are created to correspond to each selective object satisfying the criteria. Data relating to each selective object is entered into the corresponding record. The records and data are then stored in a database. Preferably, the database is a hierarchal database having sub-records, wherein each sub-record corresponds to a selective associated attribute of the selective object.

摘要: A weight-accommodating apparatus and method for easily exchanging weights. In use, the apparatus includes a handle, and a first cylindrical member having a first end and a second end, the first end being rigidly connected to the handle and the second end configured to receive one or more weights, the one or more weights being of a geometry that defines a centrally located hole. Additional apparatuses and methods are also presented.

摘要: A barrier assembly for preventing items from falling behind domestic appliances and a method of using the same is provided. The barrier assembly provides one or more mesh nets, each mesh net extending between two pivotable columns. Each pivotal column is mounted to spaced apart surfaces along an upper periphery of an appliance. As a result, each independent mesh net may be pivoted to different angles of incident relative to the upper surface of the appliance so as to close off the space between that portion of the periphery of the appliance and an adjacent wall, preventing item from falling therein.

摘要: System and methods for allowing a person or a process to select between multiple spatial-temporal sub-channels provided within a multi-sub-channel video-audio stream being output to a viewer, where selection causes a specific sub-channel within the stream to be received when viewing through an active filter device. A single image of the stream comprises at least two spatial sub-channels and the stream comprises at least two temporal sub-channels, where spatial sub-channels are formed using polarization and restrictive narrow-band color filtering. The stream is output by a display or projector and viewed using an active filter device. The active filter device comprises a combination of an active spatial channel filter and an active temporal channel filter and is responsive to sub-channel selections indicated through either a manual or automatic content selection means, where an automatic selection means includes a program for example directing the person through an adjustable story movie.

摘要: A basket (10) comprising first and second side walls (16, 17) and first and second end walls (18, 19). Upper edges of the side and edge walls (16, 17, 18, 19) include a lip portion (22) and securing clips (34) are located adjacent lower sides of the lip portions (22). A retaining loop (32) is provided such that the retaining loop (32) is locatable around outer surfaces of the first and second side walls (16, 17) and the first and second end walls (18) to be received in the securing clips (34) to secure the first and second side walls (16, 17) and first and second end walls (18, 19) together to define an outer wall (12) of the basket (10).

摘要: A new cultivar of Achillea plant named ‘HEARTTHROB’ that is distinguishable by basal branching, upright and spreading plant habit, fern-like foliage which is grey-green in color at time of flowering, inflorescences which consist of bright red ray flowers and yellow disc flowers forming a contrasting eye. Flowering of ‘HEARTTHROB’ commences in late June and continues until October on plants which are 45 cm in height and 35 cm in width after 1 year of growth from an initial cutting.

摘要: Data, such as product data or airline flight data, is represented using structured data tuples, tables, or as data with related metadata and tags, and stored by a search engine. Partial queries are received by the search engine from a user and are used to generate a dialog between the search engine and the user. The dialog may include suggested query completions for the partial queries that correspond to a schema associated with the data tuples. The suggested query completions may be determined using attribute combinations of attributes and attribute values, or metadata and tags associated with the data tuples, including known synonyms and misspellings. The user may interact with the query completions in the dialog, and the search engine may revise the dialog and the query completions according to the interactions. A user may query data tuples without knowing the schema used by the underlying data structures.
