摘要: The high-voltage switching device can be used in at least one installation position and has metallic encapsulation (10). It contains a switching gap (4) and a particle trap (1) for holding foreign body particles (2), and is characterized in that in the at least one installation position, the particle trap (1) is arranged vertically underneath the switching gap (4), and in that, in the at least one installation position, an isolator part (8) is provided, which has a surface (8a) that is aligned essentially horizontally and faces the interior of the high-voltage switching device, with a metallic wall (9), which is higher than the particle trap (1; 1′), being arranged between the isolator part (8) and the particle trap (1; 1′). The particle trap (1) preferably has a viewing window (3). If the high-voltage switching device is a disconnector, this viewing window (3) may be identical to the viewing window (3) for visual access to the visible disconnecting gap (4) of the disconnector. The high-voltage switching device can be used particularly advantageously in at least one second installation position and has a second particle trap, with the second particle trap being arranged vertically underneath the switching gap (4) in the at least one second installation position. This results in the high-voltage switching device having good operational reliability and a low susceptibility to defects.

摘要: At least some of the illustrative embodiments are a non-transitory machine-readable storage medium including executable instructions that, when executed, cause one or more processors to receive drilling rig safety barrier data based on conditions of safety barriers in one or more drilling rigs. The one or more processors are further caused to identify, based on the drilling rig of safety barrier data, an impending invalidation of at least one of the safety barriers. The one or more processors are further caused to identify, based on the impending invalidation, one or more profiles for alert, and output, based on the one or more profiles, an alert of impending safety barrier invalidation.

摘要: The invention relates to a method and system hardware for ingesting media content in a peer-to-peer network from a data stream. The data stream is made up of a sequence of packets of media data, and each packet is identified by a sequence identifier. The method includes commencing caching of the data packets from the data stream. A missing data packet is identified using the sequence identifiers of the packets and the size of the missing data packet is determined. A portion of the memory medium is skipped to provide a skipped portion of medium having no data cached therein. The skipped portion has a size corresponding to the determined size of the missing data packet. The missing data packet is then retrieved and inserted into the skipped portion of the memory medium. The system includes an ingestion element configured to receive the content in a data stream, to define blocks of media data that make up the content, to generate metadata associated with each block, the metadata identifying the construction of the block from the data stream, and to transmit the data stream as a multicast stream to other network nodes. The other network nodes include at least one cache element configured to construct at least one of the blocks from the multicast data stream in accordance with the metadata, and to cache the data block. The system also includes a database accessible to network nodes, the database recording a location of each of the cached data blocks in the network.

摘要: A method of operating a network node in PIM-SM (Protocol Independent Multicast-Sparse Mode) is disclosed. In one embodiment, a Rendezvous Point Tree (RPT) to Shortest Path Tree (SPT) switch over process is initiated after the packet flow rate of the RPT data stream is compared against a predetermined threshold using a reverse rate limiting technique. If the packet flow rate of the RPT data stream exceeds the threshold, further analysis can be performed to decide whether the RPT to SPT switch over process should be initiated. Otherwise, if the packet flow rate does not exceed a predetermined threshold, the network node continues to receive multicast packets via the RPT until the predetermined threshold is reached.

摘要: An efficient Reverse Path Forwarding (RPF) check mechanism is disclosed. In one embodiment, when a network node receives a multicast packet on an incoming interface, the network node obtains an expected incoming interface identifier from either a unicast routing table or a multicast forwarding information table. A RPF Flag stored in association with multicast flow information determines from which table the interface identifier is obtained. If the expected incoming interface does not match the actual incoming interface, the multicast packet is discarded.
