    摘要： A shower head is disclosed of the type having a pivotally mounted spray head. The shower head comprises a first member adapted for attachment to a water supply pipe and a spray head pivotally mounted to the first member. The first member includes a concave, socket-defining surface with a water supply aperture therein. The spray head has an inner spray body, through which the water flows, and an outer retaining sleeve, which secures the spray body to the first member. To prevent leakage between the spray body and the sleeve, an annular seal is carried by the spray body and slidably engages the concave surface of the first member along a line which encloses the water supply aperture at all pivot positions of the spray head. In the preferred embodiment, the inlet end of the spray body defines a flow-limiting vortex chamber, into which water is directed in a swirling action. As presently understood, the swirling action creates a centrifugal action away from the center outlet of the vortex chamber, which limits the volume of water flowing through the spray body.

    摘要： A single lever faucet assembly having a faucet control lever which is reversibly mountable laterally on either side of the faucet spout without having to switch positioning of the hot and cold water supply lines thereto. The faucet assembly includes a valve cartridge which may be easily disconnected from the faucet control lever and removed from the faucet base for replacement. The valve cartridge is arranged and disposed to provide a straight through flow path from the hot and cold water supply lines to the faucet spout which is free of any obstructions, thereby maximizing outlet flow rates. The faucet assembly further includes a means for independently controlling discharge temperature and flow rate by separate-patterned movement of the faucet control lever so as to provide uniform temperature regulation at any flow rate.

    摘要： A removable and replaceable dispensing head for a fluid dispenser system adapted to deliver the fluid to a user includes a hollow shank extending on an axis. A shank hub is attached to the hollow shank, and an aperture aligned with the hollow portion of the shank extends through the shank hub. A first fixed body is removably attached to the shank hub, the first fixed body and shank hub each having corresponding first attachment means arrayed in a predetermined pattern. A fluid conveyance path is provided through the hollow shank, first fixed body and shank hub. A second fixed body is provided having a second attachment means arrayed in the same predetermined pattern, the second attachment means corresponding to the first attachment means in the shank hub enabling removable attachment of the second fixed body to the shank hub upon removal of the first fixed body from the shank hub. A sensor attached to either the fixed body, or to a hub spacer connected to the shank hub, automatically detects the presence of a user and activates the fluid dispensing system.
