    摘要： A process to form a generally rigid cushion package from loose fill dunnage material. The loose fill dunnage material is particles of cellular thermoplastic or thermosetting material. The process involves surrounding, within a second packaging enclosure, the article to be packaged with an amount of loose fill dunnage material. The second packaging enclosure is placed in a first packaging enclosure. The second packaging enclosure has an original volume greater than internal volume of the first packaging enclosure. An internal vacuum is created in the second packaging enclosure causing the original volume of material therein to decrease below the internal volume of the first packaging enclosure. The first packaging enclosure is sealed and the vacuum within the second packaging enclosure released.

    摘要： A metal-plastic-metal structural laminate which can be formed into various useful articles having compound curves using conventional metal forming techniques. The laminate comprises two metal skin layers and a centrally disposed polymer layer comprising a core layer, and optionally first and second adhesive layers. Each metal skin layer is 2 to 20 mils, the ratio of the core thickness to skin thickness is less than 9:1 and the total laminate thickness is 5 to 65 mils. The laminate can be bent to 90.degree. to a critical radius, the distance between the pivot point and the inner skin surface of the laminate, without metal rupture.

    摘要： Lunge poles used to assist a user in maintaining his or her balance while performing lunges include a base, a pair of resilient couplings mounted on the base and a pair of tubular poles extending from the resilient couplings. The base is generally planar and includes four outwardly extending feet having rubber pads on the bottom thereof to frictionally retain the base in position on a floor. A pair of holes is formed in the top of the base for receiving the resilient couplings. An annular groove is formed in the couplings for snap-fitting the couplings with the holes of the base. The couplings include an elongated tapered stem which extends downwardly into the base and a criss-crossed shaped top portion for receiving a bottom end of the tubular poles. A middle section of the couplings is tapered downwardly forming a thin neck which allows the couplings to pivot on the base in a 360.degree. range of motion. A large circular flange is formed on the couplings to prevent the resilient couplings from being pushed through the holes of the base. Each pole includes an upper section which engages a lower section. A foam handle is disposed around a top end of the upper section of each pole. The poles pivot with the user while the user is performing lunges. The lunges provide a cardiovascular workout while working the user's lower body and the pivotal movement of the poles provide an upper body workout. A resilient band is removably attachable between each pole to selectively increase the resistance therebetween, allowing the user to increase the intensity of the upper body workout.

    摘要： A pneumatic control system for a press which includes a pair of start switches. The system is constructed so that the press can only be started if both of the start switches are actuated within a predetermined time interval. If one of the start switches is released during a down stroke of the press, the press is stopped. A cam operated switch permits continued operation of the press after the press has reached its bottom position even though start switches are released after the press has passed full down position. A brake cam operated switch prevents operation of the press if the press fails to stop at its full up position.
