    摘要: A two dimensional/three dimensional (2D/3D) switchable autostereoscopic display apparatus and method to selectively display a 2D image and a 3D image using two displays and a convertible lens. When outputting the 2D image, the 2D/3D switchable autostereoscopic display apparatus may control a first display to output a white image/white light, control a second display to output an image, and control an electrical diffuser lens of the convertible lens to be switched off and the white image to be diffused so as to operate as a backlight. When outputting the 3D image, the 2D/3D switchable autostereoscopic display apparatus may control the first display to output an image, control the second display to be switched off to be in a transparent state, control the electrical diffuser lens of the convertible lens to be switched on to be in the transparent state, and control the lenticular lens to output the 3D image.

    摘要: An image processing apparatus and method to reduce the deterioration of visibility of an image displayed on an image display device occurring under various lighting conditions when the brightness of ambient light is brighter than that of the image display device, and includes a sensor to sense the brightness of an external light, a unit to store a luminance-contrast model curve representing an optimal contrast value for a particular luminance for each brightness of the external light, a unit to determine a target luminance value according to the sensed brightness of the external light, to obtain a contrast value corresponding to the target luminance value with reference to the luminance-contrast model curve corresponding to the sensed brightness, and to adjust an input image to have the target luminance value and the obtained contrast value, and a unit to adjust the saturation of the adjusted input image according to the target luminance value and the obtained contrast value.

    摘要: Disclosed are a method for driving a glasses-type stereoscopic display preventing visual fatigue and refractive index-variable shutter glasses. The method includes generating a plurality of left-eye viewing point images and a plurality of right-eye viewing point images. The plurality of left-eye viewing point images and right-eye viewing point images have viewing points different from each other. An initial left-eye viewing point image and a subsequent left-eye viewing point image of the plurality of left-eye viewing point images are output, and an initial right-eye viewing point image and a subsequent right-eye viewing point image of the plurality of right-eye viewing point images are output. Each of the plurality of left-eye viewing point images and right-eye viewing point images is inputted into a single pupil. The glasses include a refractive index control unit to control a strength of an electric field to vary a refractive index of the glasses.
