摘要: A generic interface may be provided for parameters relating to one or more wireless networks. In one implementation, a method may include monitoring parameters relating to a 3G wireless network and a 4G wireless network. The method may also include receiving a request, from a network element, to create a custom interface for the parameters relating to the 3G wireless network and the 4G wireless network, the request including an indication of a subset of the parameters that are to be included in the custom interface. The method may further include providing the custom interface to the network element in order to provide the subset of the parameters to the network element.

摘要: A device provides, to a domain name system (DNS), a request for candidate network nodes to which to connect, and receives, from the DNS and based on the request, a list of fully qualified domain names (FQDNs) for the candidate network nodes. The device truncates the FQDNs in the list of FQDNs to create a list of truncated FQDNs corresponding to the candidate network nodes, and stores the list of truncated FQDNs in a buffer associated with the device.

摘要: Systems and/or methods described herein may include an Internet Protocol (IP) Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) optimization server in communication with network elements within an IMS network. The IMS SIP optimization server may facilitate an end-to-end SIP session between an originating user device and a terminating user device, while sending SIP session information to intermediate network elements in parallel. The IMS SIP optimization server may receive a SIP request from a first network element and send a related SIP request to a last network element. The IMS SIP optimization server may also send customized packet messages to any intermediate network elements, where the intermediate network elements are between the first network element and the last network element in the SIP sequence, and where the customized packet message includes SIP setup commands for each of the intermediate network elements.

摘要: A network device receives a connection request from a user device. The network device determines whether an Internet Protocol (IP) address is assigned to the user device. The network device identifies the IP address when the IP address is assigned to the user device. Otherwise, the network device assigns the IP address to the user device. The network device also assigns a virtual local area network (VLAN) identifier (ID) associated with the IP address to use to satisfy the connection request.

摘要: A network device forwards a Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) setup request from an originating user device toward a destination user device via multiple network elements and intercepts a message-too-large error message sent from one of the multiple network elements to the originating user device. The network device automatically splits the session setup request into smaller SIP messages, where a size of each of the smaller SIP messages is less than or equal to a particular size of message that the network element will accept. The network device then notifies another one of the multiple elements that the session setup request has been split into the smaller SIP messages and sends, via the multiple network elements, the smaller SIP messages toward the destination user device on behalf of the originating device.

摘要: A device receives a PDN connection request from a UE, and exchanges, with a HSS, authentication and authorization information associated with the UE. The device also constructs an APN FQDN based on the authentication and authorization information, and sends a query, that includes the APN FQDN, to a DNS server. The device further receives, from the DNS server, PGW FQDNs that contain the APN FQDN, and compares the PGW FQDNs with a FQDN associated with a SGW. The device determines, based on the comparison, a PGW, associated with a PGW FQDN that is a closest match to the FQDN associated with the SGW, to be a primary PGW for the PDN connection request. The device also determines, based on the comparison, one or more PGWs, residing within a predetermined distance of the SGW, to be one or more backup PGWs for the PDN connection request.

摘要: A device receives a first message from a first network element of a network grid. The device determines, based on the first message, whether a threshold is reached for the first network element of the network grid. The device further reprograms, when the threshold is reached, a second network element of the network grid to function in same first role as the first network element. Prior to the reprogramming of the second network element, the second network element functions in a second role that is different from the first role. The device also shifts processing from the first network element to the second network element.

摘要: A method performed by a network device may include obtaining an Internet Protocol address and a user device identifier associated with a user device, determining that the obtained user device identifier does not match a previous user device identifier associated with the obtained Internet Protocol address, and monitoring packets destined for the obtained Internet Protocol address to determine whether the packets are associated with a streaming application, based on determining that the obtained user device identifier does not match the previous user device identifier. The method may further include detecting a packet destined for the obtained Internet Protocol address, where the packet is associated with a streaming application and where the packet is received from a particular network device and signaling the particular network device to stop sending packets associated with the streaming application and destined for the obtained Internet Protocol address.
