This brake (105) additionally comprises two pieces (10, 50) which always rotate as one about the axis (X30) of the spring and each of which forms an end stop (16, 57) to an axial movement of the helical spring (30). The end stop (16) formed by one of these pieces (10) is able to limit the axial movement of the spring in a first direction, whereas the end stop (57) formed by the other piece (50) is able to limit the axial movement of the spring in a second direction opposite to the first direction.
