摘要： The invention relates to a device (1) and a method for measuring the moisture in die cast molds (24), the cavity (25) of which is connected via an evacuation conduit (31) to an evacuation device (28). The modular assembly of the device (1) is connectable to the evacuation conduit (31) and comprises a sensor assembly (S) by means of which the moisture of gases evacuated from the mold cavity (25) is measurable. The sensor assembly (S) comprises an emitter (7) emitting electromagnetic radiation and a detector (14) detecting electromagnetic radiation. On the basis of the measured values obtained during the evacuation action it can be determined whether the amount of a water/release agent mixture jetted into the mold cavity (25) needs to be altered before the actual casting action.

摘要： A die casting mold evacuation valve assembly (1) features a two-part valve casing (2). Machined in the front casing part (2a) is an evacuation duct (3, 5) closable by means of an evacuation valve (7). Housed in the casing (2) is an actuator (14) for actuating a valve piston (8) of the evacuation valve (7). The actuator (14) comprises a casting material actuated force transducer (15) and a force transmission member (20) for transmitting the closing movement of the force transducer (15) to the valve piston (8) of the evacuation valve (7). The actuator (14) features in addition a stacked spring assembly (23) for returning the actuator (14) and/or force ejecting the riser. The front casing part (2a) is provided with a sleeve (26) surrounding at least the head part (9) of the valve piston (8) and a further sleeve (31) surrounding at least the head part (16) of the force transducer (15). Both sleeves (26, 31) are harder than the front casing part (2a).

摘要： The valve device for venting die-casting moulds has a valve housing and a venting duct running between an inlet and an outlet. A force-receiving element, which is actuated by casting material, and at least two venting valves, which are operatively connected to the force-receiving element, are arranged in the venting duct. Each venting valve comprises a valve piston. The force-receiving element is provided with radial protrusions, which engage in a corresponding cut-out in the respective valve piston and effect a direct coupling between the respective venting valve and the force-receiving element.
