Abstract:
A process for producing a Cu—Cr material by powder metallurgy for a switching contact, in particular for vacuum switches, includes the steps of pressing a Cu—Cr powder mixture formed from Cu powder and Cr powder and sintering the pressed Cu—Cr powder mixture to form the material of the Cu—Cr switching contact. The sintering or a subsequent thermal treatment process is carried out with an alternating temperature profile, in which the Cu—Cr powder mixture or the Cu—Cr material is heated above an upper temperature limit value and cooled again below a lower temperature limit value at least twice in alternation. All of the steps are carried out at temperatures at which no molten phase forms.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an exhaust gas collector for an exhaust system of an internal combustion engine, in particular in a motor vehicle, having two internal shell bodies which each connect a plurality of inlet openings in a communicating fashion to an outlet opening, having an external shell body which encloses a receptacle space in which the two internal shell bodies are at least partially arranged. In order to improve the response behavior of a turbocharger, which can be connected to the exhaust gas collector, a dividing wall is proposed which divides the receptacle space into two partial spaces, one of the two internal shell bodies being at least partially arranged in each of the partial spaces.
Abstract:
By a temper treatment a polyaryletherketone powder is processed such that it is particularly suited for the use in a method for a layer-wise manufacturing of a three-dimensional object. To this effect the powder is tempered at a temperature that is at least 20° C. above the glass transition temperature for at least 30 minutes before it is used as building material.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an ampule breaking aid 10 for a glass ampule 40 having a predetermined breaking point 46 between a head portion 42 and a use portion 44, said ampule breaking aid having a base body 14 that receives the use portion 44, and a cap 12 that overlaps the head portion 42, wherein the cap 12 is supported on the base body 14, in particular is supported in an unconnected manner and wherein the cap 12 and the base body 14, especially at the front surfaces 16; 18 thereof facing one another form a pivot bearing 26 having an axis of rotation 36 that substantially passes through the predetermined breaking point 46.
Abstract:
A description is given of a flexible electric control cable in which one or more layers of control wires are stranded on a central element and the at least one layer of control wires is surrounded by an outer jacket, the central element (1) comprising at least one pair of wires (1a, 1b) and each wire (1a, 1b) of the pair of wires comprising a core element (10) of a tension-resistant plastic, a layer of metal wires (11) stranded on the core element (10) and a layer (12) of a compressible insulating material sheathing the stranded layer, and the wires (1a, 1b) of the pair of wires being stranded with one another with a length of lay of 20 to 40 D, where D is the diameter of the pair of wires.
Abstract:
A device for positional and/or length determination comprising a carrier unit with an absolute magnetic length coding and a measuring unit that co-operates with the carrier measuring unit and can be displaced in relation to the latter. The measuring unit has a magnetic sensor unit (Sci, Sfi) and can be connected to an electronic evaluation unit (18 to 32) that is located downstream of the measuring unit. The elongated, rod-shaped carrier unit (10) is provided with one track of preferably radially magnetized length coding, a plurality of coding sections comprising periodic pole divisions is provided along the length coding and coding sections of a first polarity alternate with coding sections of a second polarity along the carrier unit, in such a way that a maximum of two coding sections of the same polarity lie directly adjacent to one another.
Abstract:
The present invention concerns a system for storing cargo within a vehicle. The invention is characterized by a support device (2), attached or attachable in the cargo area (4) of the vehicle, for cargo receiving means (6). The support device (2) is pivotable, after the cargo receiving means (6) have been removed and/or collapsed flat, from a utilization position (A) lying on a cargo area floor (8), about a pivot axis (Y) extending in the vicinity of the cargo area floor (8) approximately parallel thereto, into a non-utilization position (B) lying approximately parallel to and in the vicinity of a vehicle partition (10) delimiting the cargo area (4), and thereby uncovering the vehicle floor (8).
Abstract:
A method for capacitively measuring the thickness of multi-layer films (10), the layers (32, 34) the dielectric constants of which differ at least at a particular temperature, wherein, in addition to the capacitive measurement, at least one further thickness measurement is carried out under different conditions, and wherein the thicknesses (d1, d2) of the individual layers is determined by comparing the measurement results and by means of the different dielectric constants.
Abstract:
A sun shield, having disengageable swivel bearing, rollable and flexible solar modules on a support material made of scrim tissue or taffeta with layer material to form a laminate, organic (OLED) or polymer (PLED) luminous diodes, has a small cross section in which for an enlargement of the solar surface the support material with thin-layer elements is arranged to be extended and retracted from the sun shield. A component which can be snapped in the opening on the back of the sun shield can be disengaged and used as a flashlight outside the vehicle.
Abstract:
A weather resistant flag is provided which includes a flagstaff, a flag cloth mountable on the flagstaff, solar cells mounted on at least one of the flag cloth and the flagstaff, and an energy storage device for storing energy generated by the solar cells. The solar cells can be in the form of solar cell strips and can be transparent in the event that they are mounted over business advertising symbols that may be provided on the flag.
