摘要： Embodiments of the invention relate to integrated circuits comprising inputs for receiving an input signal and a plurality of clock signals having a predetermined phase relationship. The integrated circuit may include a plurality of track-and-hold devices and a plurality of slicer devices. Signal outputs of two track-and-hold devices may be coupled to signal inputs of one slicer device, one of the two track-and-hold devices and the slicer device being coupled to a first input configured to receive a first clock signal and the other track-and-hold device being coupled to a second input being configured to receive a second clock signal.

摘要： A hydrophone carrier for mounting a hydrophone in a streamer. The carrier consists of a pair of end plates spaced apart axially by at least one rigid or semi-rigid central member, thus defining a zone between the end plates which is isolated from structural stress and strain induced by streamer borne vibration, yet admitting externally induced pressure fluctuations such as result from acoustic waves present in the environment. The at least one rigid or semi-rigid central member may be arranged in a variety of configurations to allow the at least one streamer strength members and wires to pass through the carrier.

摘要： In an apparatus for building up and repairing a refractory lining of an industrial furnace, the material is centrifugally deposited by a wheel rotated by a vertical drive shaft passing through a hopper and a mixing chamber connected thereto. A shut-off bell member having a bevelled lower edge is slidably mounted on the mounting housing of the shaft for vertical movement into selected positions wherein the bevelled lower edge defines an annular gap between the hopper and the mixing chamber for permitting the granular refractory material to flow from the hopper into the chamber and the bevelled lower edge engages the conical inside wall surface of the hopper for completely closing the annular gap for interrupting the flow. The vertical movement is effected by a pneumatic motor attached to the bell member by means of a linkage and rods.

摘要： Apparatus for building up and repairing a refractory lining of an industrial oven or like hot-running vessel comprises a disc rotatable in a horizontal plane in either direction for centrifugally depositing a granular refractory material on a portion of the lining to be built up or repaired, a conduit having an outlet opening above the disc for feeding the granular material thereto, and a drive shaft for the disc and for mixing and conveying elements for the granular material in the conduit, these elements being capable of conveying the granular material to the rotatable disc in either one of the selected directions of rotation of the disc.

摘要： In a composite casting process for making aluminum alloy components for internal combustion engines, which components are provided at highly loaded surfaces with shaped elements which consist of fibers or whiskers and are bonded to the castings, the shaped elements consisting of fibers of whiskers are infiltrated with an aluminum alloy which has a higher melting point than the aluminum alloy of the casting. The infiltration is effected in such a manner that the infiltrated aluminum alloy forms a cover layer on the shaped element. In order to ensure the formation of a bond between the casting and the shaped element as the aluminum alloy for making the casting is cast in contact with the shaped element, the infiltrated shaped elements are dipped into a molten solder alloy before the aluminum alloy for making the casting is cast in contact with the shaped element, and the latter is subsequently placed into the heated mold for making the casting, whereafter the casting is made.
