    Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide a method for observed time difference of arrival (OTDOA) positioning. The method can include receiving from a serving cell of a first network assistance data for measuring time difference of arrival of positioning reference signals (PRSs) received from a plurality of neighboring cells of a second network, receiving from the serving cell a gap pattern for decoding a master information block (MIB) of a first neighboring cell of the plurality of neighboring cells, or a system frame number (SFN) offset of the first neighboring cell, and determining an SFN timing of the first neighboring cell based on the gap pattern for decoding the MIB of the first neighboring cell or the SFN offset of the first neighboring cell.

    Abstract: A media management system including an application layer, a system layer, and a solid state drive (SSD) storage layer. The application layer includes a media data analytics application configured to assign a classification code to a data file. The system layer is in communication with the application layer. The system layer includes a file system configured to issue a write command to a SSD controller. The write command includes the classification code of the data file. The SSD storage layer includes the SSD controller and erasable blocks. The SSD controller is configured to write the data file to one of the erasable blocks based on the classification code of the data file in the write command. In an embodiment, the SSD controller is configured to write the data file to one of the erasable blocks storing other data files also having the classification code.

    Abstract: A query processing device includes a communication interface accessing a database and database catalog, a memory storing instructions, and a processor coupled to the memory and the communication interface. The processor executes the instructions to parse a query and generate first and second execution plans for the query, retrieve respective previously determined cardinality values for previously executed logical steps of the first and second execution plans from the database catalog, select an execution plan from the first execution plan or the second execution plan, the selected execution plan having a lower cost based on the previously determined cardinality values, and execute the selected execution plan on data accessed from the database. The query processing system stores actual cardinality values determined during the execution of the logical steps in the database catalog for use by subsequent queries. The query processing device, therefore, re-uses previously determined cardinality values.
