摘要: New cement binders characterised by including: 30-80% by weight of a first component having MgO and at least one magnesium carbonate having the general formula: w MgC03.x MgO.y Mg(OH)2.z H2O (A) in which w is a number equal to or greater than 1; at least one of x, y or z is a number greater than 0 and w, x, y and z may be (but need not be) integers and 20-70% by weight of a second component including a least one silicon and/or aluminium oxide containing material are disclosed. They can be used to produce building materials (cements, mortars, grouts and the like) having improved structural properties relative to prior art materials. In particular, their manufacture is less energy intensive than e.g. Portland cement making them environmentally friendly in the sense that processes for their manufacture have a relatively low carbon footprint.

摘要: An electrical connector (100) includes an insulative housing (10), a number of contacts (20) retained in the insulative housing, a metal shell (30) shielding the insulative housing, and a pair of board locks (40). The insulative housing has a body portion (11) and a mating portion (12). The body portion defines a pair of receiving spaces (14) extending therethrough. Each board lock has a first plate (41) with a hollow cylinder (44) and a hook section (42) extending out of the insulative housing. The metal shell defines a pair of through holes (33) corresponding to the hollow cylinders respectively. The metal shell and the insulative housing sandwich the first plates of the board locks therebetween.

摘要: A method is delineated for detecting and locating coronary artery and heart disease comprising the steps of obtaining electrocardiograph (EKG) signals from a patient, modifying the EKG signals, and establishing a base value for use in evaluating modified EKG signals. The step of modifying includes the steps of amplifying the EKG signals, digitizing amplified EKG signals, mathematically modifying the amplified and digitized EKG signals to obtain 12 lead signals in the time domain, and converting the 12 lead signals into power spectrum signals in the frequency domain. The base value is obtained by taking a patient's resting heart rate in beats per minute, converting it to beats per second, and multiplying by a scaling quantity between approximately 3 and 7, inclusively. Then, a first area is calculated by integrating a selected one of the power spectrum signals from zero Hertz to the base value. Similarly, a second area results from integrating the selected power spectrum signal from the base value to infinity. Then, one takes the ratio of the first to second areas to obtain an evaluation standard indicative of the patient's coronary health. Peak analysis of the power spectrum signals is also available, and a scheme for locating detected heart disease is also provided. Lastly, a system corresponding to the aforementioned methodology is shown.

摘要: An electrical connector comprises an insulative housing, a shell, a number of terminals received in the housing and grounding means attached to the shell and engaging means. The housing comprises a mating surface with a number of terminal receiving passageways defined therein and an adjacent mounting surface perpendicular to the mating surface. One end of each terminal is received in the corresponding passageway of the housing and the other end is bent to extend through the mounting surface for connecting with a circuit board. The grounding means attached to the shell comprises at least a resilient spring finger appropriately bent and warped relative to the mating surface. After the circuit board is assembled within a computer with the connector mounted thereon extending through a corresponding slot formed in a computer panel, the spring finger of the grounding means reliably contacts an inner surface of the computer panel to establish a grounding path thereby eliminating interference caused by static electricity and ensuring stable signal transmission between the connector and a mating connector.
