摘要： Disclosed are a scanning apparatus, a mobile apparatus, and a scan job performing method thereof. The scan job performing method includes discovering at least one mobile apparatus supporting the scan-to-mobile function by using multicasting by the scanning apparatus, receiving information on at least one discovered mobile apparatus, setting a connection between the scanning apparatus and the mobile apparatus by using the received information of the mobile apparatus, and transmitting a scan image generated by the scanning apparatus to the mobile apparatus. With this configuration, authentication and connection between the scanning apparatus and the mobile apparatus are set by multicasting to thereby improve user's convenience.

摘要： A host device and a driver management method of the host device are provided. The driver management method of the host device includes searching for at least one image scanning device connected to the host device, displaying a list of the at least one image scanning device found as a result of searching, selecting one of the at least one image scanning device from the displayed list, generating a user-specified driver for the selected image scanning device, and adding the generated user-specified driver. Therefore, it is possible to simplify the use of a universal image scanning device driver.

摘要： Disclosed is a method and apparatus for transmitting/receiving control information in a system in which one or more Radio Frequencies (RFs) are used to carry multiple services through a frame constituted by time resources or time-frequency resources. Control information regarding frame configuration information is not transmitted over a separate control channel but over a data channel through which to transmit primary service traffic among all service traffic, and each non-primary service traffic other than the primary service traffic includes control information for a primary service. Thus, even when a receiver changes the current service to a target service, control information necessary to detect the location of the target service in a frame and demodulate the target service can be acquired, and thus a service change can be made without reading a separate control channel.

The method includes: configuring a stream including a slot to which mobile data is allocated; and encoding and interleaving the configured stream and outputting the encoded and interleaved stream. Each slot of the stream includes signaling data, and the signaling data includes a slot indicator indicating a type of a slot, and may include at least one of a backward training indicator and a forward training indicator according to a value of the slot indicator. Accordingly, information on an adjacent slot is efficiently used.

摘要： A method and apparatus for encoding and decoding a channel in a communication system using a Low-Density Parity-Check (LDPC) code. The encoding method includes determining a modulation scheme for transmitting a symbol; determining a shortening pattern in consideration of the determined modulation scheme; grouping columns corresponding to an information word in a parity-check matrix of the LDPC code into a plurality of column groups; ordering the column groups; determining a range of a resulting information word desired to be obtained by shortening the information word; based on the range of the resulting information word, performing column group-by-column group shortening on the ordered column groups of the information word, according to the determined shortening pattern; and LDPC-encoding the shortened information word.

The method includes grouping information bits into a plurality of groups; determining an order of the plurality of groups to be shortened, based on a ratio of a number of bits to be shortened to a number of bits to be punctured; determining a length of an information word to be obtained by shortening the plurality of groups; shortening the plurality of groups on a group basis in the determined order based on the determined length of the information word; and LDPC-encoding a shortened information word.
