摘要： For draft- and trouble-free coiling of a sliver arriving from a deflection roll into a sliver can, there is provided a coiler roll which, in cooperation with a nip or pinch roll, guides the sliver through an infeed funnel and deposits the sliver directly upon sliver coils already located in the sliver can. For this purpose, the circumference of the coiler roll projects by a predetermined amount deeper into the sliver can than the underside or lower surface of a coiler plate.
