摘要: The present invention regards a barrier plug system (3) for sealing off a pipe (1), comprising a plug body, a first and a second end plate surface (11, 31) arranged on opposite sides of the plug body and at least one circumferential sealing means (6) and means (8) for setting the plug system (3). The plug body comprises at least two separate plug body elements (10, 30) movable relative each other and the at least one sealing means (6) is arranged abutting two opposite annular pressing surfaces (12, 32) formed by the plug body, which are moved towards each other during setting of the plug system (3). The pressing surfaces (12, 32) are limited in the movement against each other by stop means and pre-tensioned to move toward each other by at least one tensioning device (7).

摘要: A method to be used when performing drilling in a well bore involves positioning a dual bore drill pipe in a well bore. An outer annulus formed between the drill pipe and well bore wall is divided into two different sections. A first fluid is provided in one of the sections. A second fluid having a density less than the first fluid is circulated into and out of the well bore through the drill pipe. The densities of the first and second fluids are such that the drill pipe is at least partly floating in the first fluid in the outer annulus.

摘要: A down hole well tool for installing a casing or liner in a well bore includes a tool unit and an expansion module for expansion of the casing or liner. The expansion module has at least two sets of rolling means arranged along an axial direction of the expansion module, and each set of rolling means is provided at an outer circumference of the expansion module. The diameter of the rolling means decreases at least between the two sets along the expansion module, providing the expansion module with a decreasing diameter in an axial down hole direction of the well bore.

摘要: A sealing system between a relatively rotating element and a stationary element has at least three sealing elements arranged between the rotating element and the stationary element and arranged in series between a process fluid and an environment, and a barrier fluid arrangement to provide a barrier fluid to spaces formed between the sealing elements. The barrier fluid arrangement has at least two compensator devices where under use the pressure in the process fluid is acting on one side of a piston in the compensator device and the pressure in the barrier fluid is acting on the opposite side of the piston. There is a difference between cross sectional areas of the two sides of the piston and the difference varies between the at least two compensator devices.
