Abstract:
A starting control unit integrally includes a current suppression resistor connected in series with an output contact of an electromagnetic shift relay provided on a starter motor, a short-circuiting relay that short-circuits the current suppression resistor with a short-circuiting contact thereof, and a timer circuit that closes the short-circuiting contact at a predetermined time instant when a starting current decreases in response to the operation of a starting command switch. An excitation coil of the short-circuiting relay is supplied with electric power directly from a vehicle battery by way of one of the terminals of the current suppression resistor, a reverse connection protection device, and a driving transistor, excluding the starting command switch. A suppression starting current for the starter motor flows in the current suppression resistor during the time period obtained by adding a delay setting time T0 of the timer circuit and a t2b from a time instant when the excitation coil is de-energized to a time instant when the short-circuiting contact is returned to be closed.
Abstract:
Provided is an engine starter having a simple structure and excellent in stability and reliability, which starts an engine while preventing an occurrence of instantaneous interruption in an electrical device mounted in a vehicle. An engine starter for driving a starter motor by closing a starter switch 5 connected in series between a power source 3 and the starter motor 2 for receiving power supply from the power source to start an engine includes: a resistor 7 connected in series to the starter switch between the power source and the starter motor, for limiting a current flowing through the starter motor; and a short-circuiting switch 6 connected in parallel to the resistor, for short-circuiting both ends of the resistor by energization of a driving coil after start of an operation of closing the starter switch, and the resistor is made of a plate-like stainless steel.
Abstract:
Provided is a starter that can ensure stable insulation and exhibits excellent leakage resistance. The starter includes: a starting motor realized with a dc motor that has a commutator, positive brushes which are disposed around the commutator to abut on the commutator and connected to an external power supply, negative brushes, which are opposed to the positive brushes, stored in a bracket bearing one end of a rotation shaft; and a starting switch that is mounted on the starting motor and electrically connects or disconnects the external power supply to or from the positive brushes. When an engine is started, the starting motor is driven with the external power supply via the starting switch, and the starting motor is mechanically coupled to the engine. Herein, the starting motor has an insulating member disposed only on the internal surface of the bracket neighboring the positive brushes.

There is provided an imaging unit: including an image sensor with a number of pixels arranged in a matrix, the pixels having color pixels where color filters are disposed, and white pixels where the color filters are not disposed; a sampling circuit section for sampling pixel signals generated in the image sensor; and a main controller for controlling the image sensor and/or the sampling circuit section to sample the pixel signals generated in the white pixels or the pixel signals generated in the color pixels sequentially in a time-series manner.
Abstract:
A zoom lens barrel in which a zoom lens is switched to a plurality of focal lengths by a moving member by which a plurality of lens groups are moved in the direction of optical axis. After a desired focal length has been selected, a focusing operation is conducted by the moving member. At least two lens groups, which are moved for switching focal lengths, are moved while a distance between lens groups is being changed so that the focusing operation can be conducted.
Abstract:
A camera having a zoom lens in which the zoom lens includes: first and second lens components for focusing the light from an object on the focal plane; a lens barrel for guiding movements of the first and the second lens components, in which the lens barrel includes a first guide portion for guiding movement of the first lens component and a second guide portion for guiding movement of the second lens component; and a moving driver for moving the first lens component along the first guide portion and for moving the second lens component along the second guide portion so that the first and the second lens components focus the light on the focal plane at plural focal lengths, and a focal point adjustment, including focusing and focusing compensation, is conducted continuously from the first focal length to the second focal length of the plural focal lengths.
Abstract:
This invention relates to an electronic camera of an electronic lens shutter type including a film rewinding apparatus. The film rewinding apparatus comprises a camera back which openable for mounting or dismounting a film cartridge, an open camera back detection device for detecting the open camera back, a film rewinding device for rewinding a film, a film detection device provided in a film passage to detect a presence of the film, and a film rewind control device which stops rewinding of the film for a time specified by a timer when the film detection device detects that there is no film during the film rewinding, inhibits subsequent rewinding of the film when the open camera back is detected during the specified time, and resumes rewinding of the film when the open camera back is not detected during the specified time and the specified time is over.
Abstract:
The present invention concerns a camera incorporating a real-image finder, having a structure more compact than ever. The camera includes an objective optical system; an erect-image optical system, having a reflecting surface, to receive a light bundle passed through the objective optical system; and an ocular optical system to receive the light bundle reflected from the reflecting surface of the erect-image optical system. In the camera, a rear end of the reflecting surface is located at a backward position with respect to a film conveyance surface and outside the film conveyance surface, and, a front end of the reflecting surface is located at a forward position with respect to the film conveyance surface and inside the film conveyance surface.
