    摘要: A laminating tape has an adhesive layer for adhering to a recording surface of a to-be-laminated tape, and is formed to have a substantially identical width to a width of the to-be-laminated tape. The laminating tape has a preliminary laminating portion formed at a leading end thereof, for being preliminarily laminated to the to-be-laminated tape, and a non-adhesive portion having a predetermined length and extending continuously from an trailing end of the preliminary laminating portion, for permitting lateral motion of the laminating tape with respect to the to-be-laminated tape. In another aspect of the invention, a to-be-laminated tape is provided which has a preliminary to-be-laminated portion formed at a leading end thereof for being preliminarily laminated to a leading end of the laminating tape, and an adhesion-refusing portion having a predetermined length and extending continuously from a trailing end of the preliminary to-be-laminated portion, for permitting lateral motion of the to-be-laminated tape with respect to the laminating tape. A method and device for initially laminating the laminating tape to the to-be-laminated tape are also provided.

    摘要: In accordance with the invention, in order to increase the volume of an ink cartridge containing color inks, to prevent the ink cartridge from being improperly mounted on a print head, to ensure that required rigidity of an ink cartridge, and to ensure the viscosities of different inks remain uniform, in an ink cartridge body, a plurality of ink chambers are arranged in at least two linear arrays, and ink supplying ports associated with the ink chambers are also arranged in two linear arrays, whereby the size of the ink cartridge can be reduced, and easy loading of the ink cartridge can be insured. Additionally, the ink supply ports may be arranged in a zig-zag, offset manner to allow for a further reduction in the size of the ink chambers and ink cartridge. The open outer ends of the ink supply ports are formed substantially flush with the bottom walls of the ink chambers. Therefore, the volumes of each of the ink chambers is increased. Further, at least one or the like is provided on the outside of the ink cartridge, to insure the strength and rigidity of the ink cartridge. Circuitous grooves are formed in the surface of a cover member so that the grooves communicating with ink chambers having a smaller volumes are longer than grooves communicating with ink chambers having larger volumes, thus insuring uniform viscosities of all of the inks.

    摘要: A stamp-making apparatus is provided in which a transparent presser plate is arranged such that the presser plate is parallel with a stamp-making object material, an ink ribbon having a stamp image formed thereon is urged against the stamp-making object material via the presser plate, and exposure of the stamp-making object material to light is carried out via the ink ribbon as a mask. A ribbon feeder rolls out an ink ribbon wound around one end portion thereof to a position facing the stamp-making object material, and then rolls up the ink ribbon around another end portion thereof. A relative translation of the presser plate and the stamp-making object material is made toward each other by moving at least one of the presser plate and the stamp-making object material to thereby urge the ink ribbon against the stamp-making object material. Guide means guides the ink ribbon when the ink ribbon is fed, to space between the presser plate and the stamp-making object material. Tension of the ink ribbon is regulated in a manner linked to operation of the relative translation of the presser plate and the stamp-making object material made toward each other.

The length of a portion of a feed path of an ink ribbon, which extends from a point where the ink ribbon leaves the printing mechanism to a central point of a stamp surface of a stamp-making object material, is substantially equal to a half of a length of each of the two longer-sides of the plate-making sheet.

    摘要: A tape cartridge holds a roll of printing tape. The tape cartridge is removably loaded in a tape printing apparatus. The printing tape is fed by being unwound from the tape cartridge.
