摘要： An elastic apparatus used in a keyswitch key of a keyboard includes a bell-shaped shell having a top plate from which a receptacle extends upward for engaging with a keycap and from which an impacting portion projects downward and a base flange radially extends from a bottom peripheral edge of the bell-like shell for exerting a resilient force when the keycap is depressed to cause deformation of the elastic apparatus. A keyswitch key using the elastic apparatus is also disclosed for activating and deactivating a circuit unit which is positioned a predetermined distance below the impacting portion of the elastic device in an undepressed status and which is depressed by the impacting portion of the elastic device during depression of the keycap.

摘要： A connector assembly (10, 10') for receiving electrical cards seated on a rigid mother board (12, 12'), includes the plural electrical card connectors (20, 20'), a flexible printed circuit (50, 50') and a connecting means (30, 30') wherein the plural connectors (20, 20') further includes an insulative housing (26, 26') means receiving a plurality of contacts (24, 24') and a shell means (40, 40') integrally forming a plurality of terminal (44, 44') therewith. The flexible printed circuit board (50, 50') includes a plurality of holes (521, 521') formed adjacent to an end thereof and solderably connected with the terminals (44, 44') and the contacts (24, 24') of the connectors (20, 20'), and a plurality of printed pads (581, 581') formed adjacent to the other end thereof and electrically connected with a plurality of circuit pads (18, 18') formed on the rigid mother board (12, 12') by means of the connecting means (30, 30'). Since the electrical connection between the electrical card connectors (20, 20') and the rigid mother board (12, 12') only utilizes one flexible printed circuit board (50, 50') and one connecting means (30, 30'), the connector assembly (10, 10') can save more space on the rigid mother board (12, 12') and achieve a shorter electrical transmittal path.

摘要： A memory card connector assembly (32) includes a connection device (40) for use with a memory card connector apparatus (34) for electrically connecting the memory card connector apparatus (34) to a mother board (33) on which such memory card connector apparatus (34) is mounted. The connection device (40) includes a daughter board (42) and a card edge connector (44) wherein the daughter board (42) is vertically positioned on the back side of the memory card connector apparatus (34) for receiving multiple rows of plural spaced contact tails (46) of the memory card connectors (36, 38). The bottom edge region (50) of the daughter board (42) having conductive pads (52) thereon, is adapted to be electrically received within the slot (56) of the card edge connector (44) which is directly electrically mounted onto the mother board (33).
