    摘要: A common voltage compensation device suitable for a display panel of a liquid crystal display is provided. The common voltage compensation device includes a timing controller and a compensation circuit. The timing controller receives an image signal and generates control signals to the compensation circuit according to a determination mechanism. The compensation circuit sends a common voltage compensation signal to the display panel according to the control signals outputted from the timing controller in order to compensate the common voltage on the display panel. The determination mechanism performs an analysis of a gray scale distribution of a horizontal line signal of the image signal, and determines whether to compensate the common voltage according to an analysis result, and determines a polarity required to be compensated to perform the compensation when the compensation is needed.

    摘要: A flat panel display, an image correction circuit and method thereof are provided. The image correction circuit mainly includes a digital to analog conversion unit and a data processing unit. The digital to analog conversion unit includes a temperature sensor and a gamma voltage generator. The gamma voltage generator is adopted for generating a plurality of gamma voltages, and the temperature sensor is electrically connected to the gamma voltage generator and adopted for sensing the working temperature of the gamma voltage generator. The data processing unit is electrically connected to the digital to analog conversion unit. When the working temperature of the gamma voltage generator changes to higher (or lower) than the room temperature, the data processing unit selects and outputs applicable digital data to the digital to analog conversion unit. Therefore, the digital to analog conversion unit outputs a predetermined gamma voltage at room temperature according to the digital data.

    摘要: A flat panel display, an image correction circuit and method thereof are provided. The image correction circuit mainly includes a digital to analog conversion unit and a data processing unit. The digital to analog conversion unit includes a temperature sensor and a gamma voltage generator. The gamma voltage generator is adopted for generating a plurality of gamma voltages, and the temperature sensor is electrically connected to the gamma voltage generator and adopted for sensing the working temperature of the gamma voltage generator. The data processing unit is electrically connected to the digital to analog conversion unit. When the working temperature of the gamma voltage generator changes to higher (or lower) than the room temperature, the data processing unit selects and outputs applicable digital data to the digital to analog conversion unit. The common voltage compensation device includes a timing controller and a compensation circuit.     摘要: A source driving device and a driving method for a display panel of a liquid crystal display are provided. The source driving device comprises a source driver and a current regulator. The source driver receives image data and then outputs image data via a plurality of source lines to drive the display panel. The current regulator is electrically connected to the source driver. By evaluating the image data received by the source driver, when the voltage difference between any two adjacent source lines caused by the image data is larger than a predetermined value, the current regulator is activated to adjust the driving current on the source lines, such as reducing the driving current, to prevent the block dim phenomenon.

The current/voltage limit unit is used for limiting the voltages or currents from the power supply to the gate driving unit while reducing the tide phenomenon of the liquid crystal display panel, so as to decrease the possibility of the bonding pads damaged by the rush currents.
