Abstract: An ablation needle device can maintain flexibility of an injection needle even when the length of an electrode constituted at a distal end portion thereof is increased and can perform cooling with small nonuniformity in the electrode during ablation. Abstract: An ablation needle device is a needle device intended for an ablation treatment of an adrenal tumor with transvenous introduction of an injection needle into an adrenal gland. The ablation needle device includes a metal injection needle including a pointed tubular distal portion and a tubular proximal portion, and a grip portion attached to a proximal side of the injection needle. The proximal portion of the injection needle is given flexibility by forming a helical slit in a distal region of the proximal portion. An outer surface of the proximal portion is coated with resin. A distal end of the distal portion of the injection needle is closed. A plurality of fine holes are formed in an outer surface of the distal portion including the closed part. The grip portion has a liquid-injection port for supplying liquid into the lumen of the injection needle.

Abstract: An intracardiac defibrillation catheter has improved operability when a distal end portion of the catheter having a first DC electrode group is inserted into a coronary sinus. The defibrillation catheter includes an insulating tube member having a distal end side tube and a proximal end side tube, a handle connected to a proximal end of the tube member, a first DC electrode group having a plurality of electrodes mounted at the distal end side tube, and a second DC electrode group having a plurality electrodes spaced apart toward a proximal end side from the first DC electrode group and mounted at the distal end side tube. The catheter performs defibrillation in a cardiac cavity by applying voltages having polarities that differ from each other to the first DC electrode group and the second DC electrode group. Bending rigidities of a catheter shaft increases stepwise from the distal end to the proximal end.

Abstract: Provided is a catheter that is manufacturable in a simplified fashion. The catheter 1 includes: a catheter tube 11 including a tip-flexible part 11A that has an inner tube (first tube 61) and a plurality of divided tube members 620 to 625 that are disposed on outer circumference of the inner tube and independent of each other; one or a plurality of metal rings disposed in the tip-flexible part 11A; one or a plurality of temperature sensors disposed corresponding to the one or the plurality of metal rings; and a handle 12 attached at a base end of the catheter tube 11. A rate of a thickness of the metal ring to an outer diameter of the metal ring is 7.5% or greater. The metal ring and the plurality of divided tube members 621 to 625 are both so disposed in the tip-flexible part 11A as to be fitted on an outer circumferential surface of the inner tube side by side in an axial direction of the catheter tube 11.

Abstract: To provide a chemical ablation device that enables simple performance of chemical ablation treatment including pre- and post-treatment potential measurements. A chemical ablation device according to the present invention includes an electrode-equipped guidewire (30) with which intracardiac potential is measurable, an over-the-wire balloon catheter (40) having a guidewire lumen (415) into which the electrode-equipped guidewire (30) is to be inserted, a Y-shaped connector (50) connected to a proximal side of the balloon catheter (40) and including a guidewire port (51) and an expansion port (53), and a hemostasis valve (60) connected to the guidewire port (51) of the Y-shaped connector (50) and including a side-infusion tube (65) for supplying ethanol to the guidewire lumen (415) of the balloon catheter (40). The ethanol supplied to the guidewire lumen (415) of the balloon catheter (40) is ejected from an opening of a distal tip (47).
