    摘要: The present disclosure relates to inventions which may improve the construction of structures of various sizes, including houses, porches, patios, and the like. The disclosed embodiments provide advantages over concrete foundations. For example, disclosed embodiments may provide a base and a beam which can replace a concrete foundation, thereby facilitating easier construction while maintaining required structural integrity. The base and beam may be formed of metal and coated in corrosion resistant plastic. Moreover, a cap may be attached to the beam, where the cap provides an interface for attaching a structural support beam.

A disclosed example method includes receiving in a graphics engine, process control information selected by a user, identifying process data associated with the selected process control information, retrieving the identified process data from a process controller, determining metadata associated with the retrieved process data, generating in the graphics engine a data representation based on the metadata, and displaying the data representation via a user interface.

    摘要: A remote resource application that is associated with an application container in a manner that the application container restricts the remote resource application from directly accessing at least a file system of the computing system. The remote resource application provides a visualization for each of multiple remote resources. The user may launch the remote resource by selecting the corresponding visualization. Some of the remote resources are accessed by launching from the remote resource application itself in the context of the application container. Others of the remote resources are launched outside of the application container. The remote desktop application may operate securely within the application container, and still serve as an integrated location from which a user can access remote resources, regardless of whether the remote resource is launched from internal or external to the application container.

    摘要: A method for producing a coated optical fiber may include drawing an optical fiber from a draw furnace along a first vertical pathway. The optical fiber may then be routed through at least one fluid bearing thereby redirecting the optical fiber along a second vertical pathway. Thereafter, a thermoplastic coating may be applied to the optical fiber with a thermoplastic coating system. The optical fiber may then be wound onto a fiber storage spool with a fiber take-up system. The fiber take-up system may be space apart from the thermoplastic coating system such that the thermoplastic coating may be cooled before the optical fiber is wound onto the fiber storage spool.
